The two valves are immediately upstream and downstream to the water meter, respectively and very important to the water safety in the house. I found Genson's from the Angie's list. I confided in them since they clearly put the hourly charge rate here (which is $80/hr, plus $20 service fee), which makes things much easier and trustworthy. They made all the contact with the city water department to arrange the switch-off of the curb side valve on the date they performed the service when they sent one gentleman to do the work.
