"My past experience with contractors was not that good. me and my wife wanted to have our kitchen renovated. We spoke and asked several of our friends if they know anyone that is trustworthy. We got the information about Best builders group and we called and spoke to Zohar. Zohar was pleasant person to talk to and we asked him to come over and look at the current kitchen. Zohar came and saw the kitchen. He measured and set with us trying to figure out what we would like to do. The second meeting, Zohar came over with a 3D design of the new kitchen and with prices. The price that he gave us fits our budget and we were happy with what Zohar can give us for that price. "The young guy who did the work was prompt and professional, but not well trained. He power washed my patio BEFORE blowing the leaves and sticks off my roof, so all the debris landed on my just cleaned patio, and he didn't follow up to clean it off.

"Gary and his excellent crew basically gutted the  interior of the structure down to the studs.  Here's the details of what they did:
1. Demolished a massive brick fireplace, originally the incinerator.
2. Stripped two walls (where the fireplace was) down to the studs, re-framed them to repair dry rot and termite damage and installed new dry wall with a skim coat.
3. Covered portions of two other walls that were brick with a skim coat.
4. Installed a completely new electrical system (two 20 amp circuits) which included eight new outlets, a ceiling fan, two exterior lights and one outdoor electrical outlet. This also leaves me set-up to install a mini-split heating and air conditioning system at a later date.
5.  Removed four layers of old roofing, repaired more termite damage and dry rot and re-sheathed and re-roofed the space.
6. Removed seven dry rotted windows, re-framed everything and replaced them with Anderson block frame 100 series Fibrex windows.
7. Removed  a door and installed double French doors in a new location that now open into my garden.
8. When the old door was removed, Gary had to repair the hole in wall which included matching existing brick work.
9. When the  French doors were installed  a new brick pathway had to be created to connect the doors to an existing brick patio. The brick work was flawless and match brick work installed 20 years ago.
10. Created new brick planters on either side of the French doors.
11. Leveled the existing concrete floor, poured a new concrete base and installed Saltillo tiles.
12. Covered a partial brick exterior with stucco.
13. He added interior and exterior molding around all the windows and doors.
14. Painted everything into a color scheme to match my home.
15. Cleaned up everything so you'd never know they were there.
Working with Gary Frazier was a pleasure, he is a gentleman, honest, calm and a skilled and knowledgeable professional.  He was willing to discuss changes and always had a good solution to any surprise or problem that came up. He provided a written contract for all the work discussed and for all the changes we made during construction. He did what he said he would do and more. He has a great crew, they were on time, cleaned up after themselves and generally pleasant to have around.  This project came in on budget and turned out much better than I ever imagined it would.

"It went great! They were a few minutes late--due to train and called me, which I very much appreciated. They came in and with canvas and plastic sheeting encased the entire area in the kitchen to keep the mess to a minimum. They were very polite and really hard workers. They never even stopped for lunch. They were careful to keep the door closed--as I could not find one of my cats and I was afraid he would get out. They removed the previous old light fixture and then patched the wall. I was asked where I wanted the placement of the four new lights and wow--just like that--four new holes were drilled and four new lights installed. They dry walled the entire area and not a seam shows. They ensured the lights go on from both switches. Clean up was done quickly and there was zero mess for me to clean up. After I had purchased this item on Angie's list--Mr. Dove had emailed me with a list of questions about the light fixture and informed me about the process and the time it would take. I've had several house repairs/changes done in the past--this light fixture replacement was by far--the best, quickest and professional job I've ever has done. "Carlos did a great job fixing my gates, painting them and resetting latches so they worked better. This is the second time he has come to fix and paint the gates! At some point I may have to replace part of one gate and I will gladly have him do the work. I really appreciate the fact that he didn’t try to ‘sell me’ on doing it right away since patching and painting would work for now. He also painted a bathroom for me and it looks terrific. Carlos showed up with the paint and managed to prep, paint and clean up in just a few hours! He is very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient and I will certainly use him in the future.
