"I already gave American Home Pros a 5-star review when they completed the job, which also included extensive stucco repair and replacement of rotten wood. Now, I want to praise their exceptional customer service. About 3 months after completion something happened to damage some of our paint. "I would like to go on record praising the outstanding job Remodeling Consultant Alex Hernández did on 6/22/2026, when he visited our home to provide an estimate for replacing all our windows and doors, and adding insulation to our garage. He spent nearly 6 hours measuring over 35 windows, 4 doors, even crawling into the attic to assess insulation needs, and repeatedly checked whether the estimated cost would be manageable for us, as we are retirees in our late 70s. After we agreed to the final estimate and signed the contract, we cancelled it the next morning under the FTC’s 3‑day Cooling‑Off Rule. Our cancellation had nothing to do with Alex or the final price. His professionalism, patience, thoroughness, and genuine concern were exceptional. "SavOn/Ivan came out immediately and tested the area in question. I had mold in my dining room ceiling, not airborne thank God; but mold none the less needing remediation. SavOn completed the remediation in about 4 days and were very thorough, professional and attentive. Taylor in the office and Ivan in the field provided excellent service. SavOn was a little pricey but not as astronomical as the other companies. My project is not yet completed due to a lack of funds on my part but the cosmetic repairs will be completed soon and I'll keep you posted on the progress. Angel A"

received 9 bids. Rene the owner of Express Roofing come out to quote the  roof as well. What he had to say compared what the other roofers had to say is why we picked Express Roofing. Rene went thru in details and explaned what and how he was going to do. Verses the other roofers were allot more vague. Rene had his pencil sharpened and ready.

There were a total of three people I communicated with during the process. After accepting and giving the"OK' to work I was contacted by a gentleman names Jeff "office manager". Very impressed with the commumication from Jeff. He kept me informed via email and always returned or  answered my phone calls same day for the most part.

The third person I had allot of contact with was Ricardo, ( Job foreman) I would get up in the morning (still dark) There would be Ricardo waiting for other workers to show up. Once able to see (sun up) Work begain, And didn't stop till dark. The crew cleaned up at the end of the day very well leaving no messes from previous day.  Very impressed!!

 The crew worked five straight day till completion. Workers very detailed and everything was done to my liking.

As for the "charge ups. (additional work that needed to be done on top of original bid) Very fair and worked with me.

Express roofing was not the cheapest bid, but not the most expensive.

"Gary and his team were extremely easy to work with; they were professional and friendly. We changed our plan (and the estimate) several times without issue (Gary was very flexible). Work began almost immediately, and moved along in a timely fashion; however, we had some special-order materials in our project, and the project took longer than expected because we had to wait for the materials to arrive. They reversed the swing on two of our existing doors, so we didn't have to purchase new doors (or waste the old ones). There is no indication whatsoever that they had done that - the work the carpenter performed was exemplary. We had some complicated wiring involved in the project, as well - the electrician seemed to handle it easily (and everything works as desired). They even encountered an issue with our air handler that was complicated, and they were able to resolve the issue as if it had never occurred. We did encounter some issues after the project was completed, but Gary responded immediately and ensured that the issues were resolved. Finally, we were not charged extra due to any of the surprises that arose during the project. I would recommend GBP Contracting to anyone who is considering remodeling.
