"Deep, from Vortex, came out, did am inspection and submitted a bid which was significantly lower than two other companies. I had used Vortex before for installation of a new water heater and knew I could trust them. They came out, dug carefully to find the sewer line, removed it, laid gravel for a better bed for the new line, installed the new line. Then with me watching through the camera, they carefully and slowly ground up most of the roots inside the sewer line far from our house. We were pleased with their work and clean up."

"Their work was very professional and courteous. The perimeter drain involved a lot of jackhammering, and hauling buckets of concrete/rubble out, as well as mixing bags of concrete and hauling many bags of concrete. All *very* labor intensive. While on the worksite, they accidentally struck three sewer lines, and performed repairs. Some of these repairs required extra work, which we negotiated to my satisfaction with their supervisor before the job was complete. The drain itself has been in place for one full year now, and has certainly prevented my basement from flooding at least 5 times this winter. I can hear the drain pipe discharging into the sump well when we are at flood stage. The pump, drain, and discharge work all as expected, except for one caveat. The bid was for a complete perimeter drain along the basement cold seam, except where the basement fireplace is located. It terminates at both sides. When receiving the bid, I asked if that was going to be a problem, he said no - there was sufficient drainage to intercept any water on either side of the fireplace. Later that season, I contacted Permadry because we noticed visible wet spots on either side of the fireplace in the few inches between the fireplace and the end of the drains. This, and the continued efflorescence in the brick meant that we had a moisture issue on the fireplace. Upon contacting them, they told me that they do not do fireplace work. I reminded them that they stood by a lifetime guarantee for their work. They reminded me that it doesn't include fireplaces. So, I have minor water intrusion next to my fireplace that they were unwilling to inspect or troubleshoot. But my basement isn't flooding. Later that Spring, when conducting a sewer repipe under the house, we uncovered debris (cast iron and rubble) that had gone into one of punctured sewer pipes, and had traveled 8 feet. The unforseen work is always unforseen. However, my pipe repairs could have been problematic. During our repipe, we re-laid all the pipe Permadry repaired. And, while their repairs were serviceable, they were not done as a plumber would have and could have caused problems in the long term. The debris certainly would have. While this review may sound overly-critical, I am not critical of this company. I had a very large, unpleasant job and they carried it out with great professionalism. I would hire them again. Unless I can find a company that includes fireplaces in their waterproofing work."

Chris owns the company and he employs capable technicians who do most of the surveys & installations for PWN. A couple of them did the initial survey of my house and gave me a simple estimate within an hour, along with a line item for each hole and pipe that needed to be plumbed. When it came time for installation, PWN was pretty busy and Chris jumped in to take over some installations - including mine! I was lucky enough to have a first-rate water purification expert do my installation, and it was excellent. At one point Chris found a valve error a previous plumber made and he resolved the problem and improved the valve in the process. From turning off the water main valve to turning it on again, it was ~90 minutes (super fast). Chris was in and out of my crawl space with new lines run in no time. The purification device was installed smartly in a corner of the garage so it didn't get in the way of parking or anything else. PWN set me up with a slick Texas-made Reionator Pro Ultra by Water Tech, and it has changed my water consumption literally overnight. The PNW-installed Reionator purifies water from the primary line, and even though Kitsap County has high quality water, I love the assurance that for now into the future, no matter what happens to the water utility or the environment, water will be clean for every sink, bathtub, and even toilet. Chris finished off the install with a custom video he did on the spot while I recorded him explaining the system to me - he knows everything rote about the products he installs and the video is much easier to refer to for operation & maintenance than referring to a thousand-page reference manual. And finally, the finance team at PWN was kind enough to let me pay in a few monthly installments for my system, which makes it easier (and less expensive) to finance on a credit card. "Great Service!!! I had a clog in my main sewer line. Called around 7am and was able to schedule an estimate same day. Got a call back from Andrew and was able to have them come in sooner, which was awesome! Plumbers David & Chris was courteous, friendly and professional. They were able to fix my issue swiftly and jet the roots out as well. I love the fact that they made sure that everything was working correctly before leaving, to ensure the issue has been resolved. They even ran a camera down my sewer line to insure me all the roots were gone, got a video as well. I had the same issue previously and called another company. I had to call them twice because they did not resolve the issue on both times out here. Hagee Plumbing fixed it.
