First of all, Eric and Charles, owners, both do estimates and they came on time, with Caleb. They said the both of them go to all jobs. When getting the french drain started, they noticed water leaking from another of those cheap copper pipes. They told us then that we would not need the sump pump system. Then they said they would try and repair the pipe. How many companies would really do these things? They said our water problem should be resolved, but if not to call them. "There was water in the basement. The plumbers came and said there was something clogging the drain and that the terra cotta sewer pipes had collapsed. They gave me an estimate to fix it. I was upset that it was so high and they asked for a down payment. I asked why it cost so much and they said they didn't know the extent of the problem yet. They did come on Nov. 11th to fix it, but they left half of the concrete they dug up there. They didn't have room in their truck because they had to go buy a hot water heater for someone else and while they were in Butler, they wanted to get it since they live in Karns City. About 2 or 3 days later they came and picked up the concrete, but they left dust all over the floor. They did not bring a shop vac, and they used my broom to clean up the dust. There are still pieces of concrete on the floor, the floor is dusty, and there is a sewer gas smell. I didn't notice it right away because I had a sinus infection which impaired my sense of smell. One of them came out to fix it, but the smell came back. They have never come back after repeated calls. I only got a receipt for the down payment of $1368.75. I never got a receipt for the work done on Nov. 11th and no contract at all which they initially discussed. I don't know if they charged me the balance of $2833.31 or only $1500 which was what came out of my bank account. My card wasn't working right, so I may have paid the balance from another card. I want an accounting of the payment from Nov. 11th."

"Owner showed up with a small crew and a crazy new piece of equipment. Excavated down below my foundation and to the septic tank. Came into the basement and jackhammered the floor. Removed all the old terracotta pipe inside and out. Installed all new PVC pipe all the way down to the septic tank. Put gravel down to protect the new pipe. Poured concrete in the basement to close the floor back up. Only took one day to get the new pipe in. Came back the next to close the ground and floor up. Great experience, basement no longer smell like sewage."

   the service was on time, professional, complete, and well done. Tom was on time within 15 minutes (which is acceptable to me). He began work without wasting time, while explaining what he was doing at every step. He gave tips when appropriate. He was professional and had all necessary equipement on his person.
I would recommend this service. 
In addition, for an additional $100.00, Homepro will return to make sure that the seller has completed the necessary repairs prior to closing. This feature is useful if you do not trust the seller or selling agent. We did not elect this service, but, it was nice to know that it was available.
