The technician Brian had to crawl around in my very tight 1965 crawl space and was super friendly and competent both times. I will definitely use them again if I have any plumbing issues. "The service I received was exemplary other than a delay imposed by the Labor Day holiday weekend. I had detected a potential leak in the water line to the house after noticing a portion of my lawn was saturated. I called the leak in on Thursday morning before the Labor Day weekend, and Mathew Thatcher arrived within two hours. He cut off the water and spent the next few hours tracing water and sewage lines into the house and detecting the probable source of the leak. He went out of his way to minimize the potential cost of this tracing operation. In addition he performed a number of minor interior repairs that I had delayed performing. These included replacement of a rusting garbage disposal and repair of a recently developed toilet leak. My only possible caveat was the fact that the full repair could not be done until the following Tuesday. However, we got by turning the main water line on and off (using a key loaned to us by Mr. Thatcher) when water was needed. The leak was repaired on Tuesday after ripping up a small portion of the driveway and replacing a cracked plastic connector (undoubtedly an earlier repair to the line done many years ago) with copper piping, installing a sewer line clean out and water line cut off inside the house and repairing the driveway. I would like to particularly single out Mr. Thatcher for his helpfulness, complete explanations of potential problems and options at each step of the way, and focus on finding the least expensive method of completing an inevitably costly repair."

"Our experience with The Original Plumber and Brian Payne was excellent. Our main sewer link was leaking in the crawlspace and our 50-year old cast iron pipes were not draining properly. Brian and his assistant were prompt, courteous and kept us informed about what he was discovering and the best way to resolve the plumbing problems. They replaced all cast iron pipes that came out of the foundation and all of the problems were fixed! They also did a great job making sure all the carpet and flooring was protected and cleaned up when they were finished. Highly recommended!"

American Freedom Plumbing, Matt Vaughn was the plumber, was right on time and installed the new fixture in under 2 hours. He had to replace some of the drain pipe and provided new supply connection lines. He did this at no charge! Matt also gave me some good advice on some toilets I want to replace. I plan on replacing 2 toilets and the remaining 3 bathroom sink fixtures and will definitely be looking for American Freedom Plumbing to this work for me. Hopefully I can purchase another Big Deal!
