We contacted DJ Construction thinking we wanted a deck built. Darwin came over and consulted with us and suggested possibly pouring a stamped concrete patio instead. (We NEVER even considered that before) He showed us some ideas and how he could make it work for us and we loved the idea! We also had dogs and it allowed them to keep the space they needed to run around our yard still without a deck taking up space they couldn't be on. We couldn't be more pleased with the results! Our backyard is now our oasis! The concrete patio has given us MORE living and useful space than any deck would have. People are shocked to find out what's behind our gates. Lol The bonus is we know we have something beautiful and unique to our neighborhood. So when it came time to have a part of our driveway repaired and some front of the house beautification work done to our walkway, there was no doubt who we were going to call.
