"Did an outstanding job and helped me avoid issues I'd seen with neighbors that used other companies. It's been 3 years now, and it looks as good as it did when installed. And they were very respectful of property - would absolutely hire again without any hesitation. Excellent!"

"If you live in northeastern Ohio, you know about the clay-based soil and the standing water problems. One section of my driveway was collapsing due to a non-functioning drain. I could not afford to replace my entire driveway and drainage pipe. After researching the use of permeable concrete (water goes through the concrete and lower permeable fill) I decided to try this solution. Anthony called me shortly after my request for quotes went out. He came to look at the site and offer information and advice. I felt very confident that he could address my issues at a reasonable price. His crew turned out to be extremely professional and pleasant. Anthony visited often to check on progress, and was always available by phone or text. I am VERY pleased with the end result, and will be calling on this company again when I am ready to do the next section of my driveway."

"I have used Huth Concrete for several concrete projects and have been very pleased. They communicate the whole process very well (Thatâ  s a biggy for me), show up when they say and follow through to completion. There are a ton of concrete contractors and all claim to be the â  Bestâ  . This company is as good as any. They have done everything from regular flatwork to decorative concrete for me. Iâ  m not the type of person who writes reviews very often but I felt it was warranted in this case. They take pride in what they do and it shows. I highly recommend them for all your concrete needs. You wonâ  t be let downð  Â"

"They were professional and easy to work with. When I called the office, she was friendly, and gave me the price and made an appointment over the phone. They sent a confirmation of the appointment and the invoice by email, as well as an appointment reminder. The technician came on time and was friendly. He took his time and did a thorough job. The entire house looked like new when he was done. The concrete front steps and patio changed from their worn gray to a lighter pale color. The company sent a request for comments and an email receipt immediately. I am very pleased with the work and will use them in the future."

"lkkllWork was done promptly and carefully, with little disruption of basement.  Included was the installation of a sump pump.
In the two years since installation, the system has worked beautifully and the walls, parts of which had gotten very wet, are now completely dry.

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Barberton, OH

Whether terrazzo is better than porcelain or ceramic tiles for a kitchen or bathroom floor depends on your design preference. Terrazzo can last a long time, but so can a properly installed ceramic tile floor. According to the National Association of Home Builders, the lifespan of a ceramic tile floor is 75 to 100 years, similar to terrazzo.

You should clean terrazzo floors like you would marble, even if there’s no marble in the aggregate. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the polished surface, and steer clear of acidic cleaners like vinegar, which can damage the surface. Instead, use plain water or a neutral cleaner to mop the floor. Then, use a wet vac or squeegee to remove the dirty water. Regular buffing with a soft cloth can help you maintain the shine.

Terrazzo is made by mixing an aggregate like glass or stone with a binder like cement or epoxy. The mix is made and poured into the prepared space you designate. Alternatively, you can purchase prefabricated terrazzo tiles, which consist of similar materials. They’re poured into a mold and cured before installation.

You can add radiant heating under a terrazzo floor, which is an excellent way to combat the naturally cold surface of terrazzo floors. Installing radiant heating costs $1,653 to $6,656. You'll want to install the heating elements under the thin-set epoxy because the layer is thin enough for the warmth to conduct through the floor.

Making your own terrazzo can be a tricky DIY project. The exact mix takes a blend of art and skill to create and requires the expertise of a terrazzo pro. The wrong blend could crack, peel, or break easily, requiring expensive repairs. Finishing and polishing the floor also requires previous experience to achieve a professional appearance. Expect to pay between $200 and $2,500 for the cost of restoring and polishing floors.

Terrazzo flooring is eco-friendly because it is crafted using recycled materials such as glass, marble, and polished metal, and its epoxy binder emits no VOCs once cured. This sustainable manufacturing approach minimizes waste and supports green building practices. Homeowners gain an attractive flooring option, contributing to healthier indoor air quality and environmental conservation.
