"It did take a little time to connect up with Jeff - partly due to his being swamped after the storm and my work schedule. He got here by the time promised and due to some rain the evening before, had to come back out a little later in the day when things had dried out. He explained what he was going to be checking for up on the roof and what actions he would take should he find any problems. Once up on the roof he checked everything out as promised, fastened down the flanges where they had been lifted by the storm and reported that there were no other issues with my roof. (Relief!) Jeff was pleasant to work with and very professional and I would definitely recommend his services to others."

"From the very first contact I made with Michael, he demonstrated expert knowledge of structural roofing repair and home improvement projects. He was very professional in his work and interactions with me. As soon as I called him, he spent at least 30 minutes speaking with me concerning his work experience and discussing the project that I was seeking assistance with. He quickly arranged to meet me at the home at a time convenient for me even though it meant close to an hour drive for him on a weekend. He was transparent in his business transactions, fairly estimating the cost of the project and providing documentation of costs. At each stage of this project, which involved demolition and rebuilding of the carport roof, Michael kept me updated via phone calls, text messages and email. He was very accommodating in doing additional work that I requested. He and his crew cleaned up the work area outside the home at the end of each day. The finished project was great. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
