"Daniel came out and replaced the seal on the bottom of our garage door which mice had chewed through. Our door was 20+ years old so I expected the track that the seal went into to be outdated and it was, I couldn't even find it on Youtube, so a new track was required for the new seal to fit into. Parts and labor for this 8' metal track was only $50 in addition to the quote for the actual seal. I priced this out beforehand with competitors and I must say the pricing for everything with 1A was the lowest and very fair. I will definitely call 1A when needed again. Daniel...friendly, hard working guy with no upsell. Felt very comfortable with him. Could not have asked for a better man to help us out. Honestly. Thanks much! Rick"

"Installer showed up on time and replaced the broken garage door spring. The garage door was installed originally with only one spring. The installer stated to my wife that the deal we bought from Angie's List came with two and that it would last longer with two if installed. I must say it is refreshing to have someone complete work as described and to the extent it was contracted for and more. We spent $550 on a similar repair in our last house that had two springs with a different vendor, so I was hesitant at first with going with this deal. Superior Door Service is truly SUPERIOR in all aspects.

"My garage door was behaving erratically when I attempted to close it -- to the point where I had to manually assist' in the closing of the door.  Obviously, I needed to have it serviced.  I went to my 'go-to' site for a referral and discovered ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS on Angie's List.  The technician, David, arrived shortly after the scheduled time and proceeded to inspect the door.  He swapped out the door rollers and even added addtitional brackets to better support the door rails. Before he left, he did additional little things to ensure a quieter garage door operation, as well as giving me tips on future maintenance.  Overall, a dream experience!  My garage door now works like it did on it's initial installation some 10 years ago.  Thanks David and thanks ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS !!

Rather than just blindly doing the work, they pointed out potential issues before the problem surfaced, allowing us all to coordinate workarounds and solutions so that our schedule wasn't impacted.
My impressions of the builders began when the first arrived for a quote. They asked the right kind of questions, were organized, were thoroughly engaged, had a sense of humor and took ample measurements to provide an accurate quote. Incidentally, the estimate they provide for time and money was spot on. They hit their estimated schedule; any delays were caused by mutually agreed upon scope increases. My first impression was reinforced throughout the job.
Throughout the job I was impressed by their attention to detail and their work ethic. Both builders strived to do the best they could do and minimized the need for rework. During the rare instance when rework was necessary, they approached it constructively and worked with us to ensure that we were happy.
The bathroom looks great! We love it and feel like it is our own private spa.
I would definitely hire them again when we build our new house or for any other additions or changes at our existing home.
