"This company is wonderful. The project manager, Jason, and his crew were amazing. They turned a tiny bathroom and tiny room into a large, gorgeous, elegant bathroom. I used this company for two other bathroom remodels. Be sure you get Jason if you want a professional and efficient team."

"Sean and Mike with American Deck and Patio have been a joy to work with so far. They built a beautiful patio in the rear area of my house and are working to complete a deck rebuild. They have been easy to work with and very responsive throughout the planning and building process and I would absolutely recommend American Deck and Patio to anyone planning a similar project in the Washington, DC area."

"Thank you James Im, Antonio and crew for an amazing experience and a job well done! It is rare these days to find a home improvement company that you can trust from beginning to end. AHC staff and representatives ensured that every detail from estimates, to coordinating delivery of materials and quality control of installation was performed to the highest standards and exactly on time. James and Antonio/crew were attentive to our every question and concern, and in the end made the experience with AHC a memorable one worthy of the highest level recommendation. Bottom line: If you choose any other roof replacement contractor - you will be making a mistake!"

"We hired skills in construction llc to build our shed. The shed was a kit. The assembly of the shed was smooth. Skills in Construction was able to give us accurate estimates of time and additional materials needed. Very helpful and friendly. Would hire again."

"Jose and his crew did a nice job patching and painting two standard size bedrooms plus some work in the sunroom. In and out in a day and 1/2. Going to have him back to paint kitchen/family room in a couple weeks"

"One of the most responsive and flexible contractors I've ever dealt with. Promptly returned my phone calls and performed lightning fast turnaround (within 1.5 days of visit/assessment). This could have been even quicker, but I encouraged George to take his time! With very reasonable ($ 85 for an upgrade package), prompt turnaround and the specialization in this field (not many in this field) - would not hesitate to hire again or recommend for similar projects. George also has nearly 15 year's experience in the window/door industry, and is familiar with many of the major brands. You will be pleased!!"

"Mr. Jenkins is very knowledgeable about door installations...what's best, what to look for, and what will last. Our two doors were installed in one day, with repairs made to the surrounding trim that were needed as well. The storm door 5 days later was blasted open and slightly damaged by strong winds (my fault by not properly closing storm door as I was in a hurry) and he came back to repair at minimal charge. Does great work, cleans up, and makes sure the customer is pleased. Also, very willing to listen to our concerns and do the job correctly! He also followed up with us about a week later to make sure all was well. He is very conscientious about doing the best job and doing it right."

"Great job. Workers were very good and respectfull of my concerns. The company took care of all the arrangements with the insurnance company. They used upgraded material and gave an estimate of my out of pocket cost that they did not exceed. The project manager (Tony)walked me through the entire process and returned all my call within minutes. I have observed many companies working on roofs in our community but this company is the best.

"We would trust Robert and Competitive Painters with any project.  He's not just a painter, he's an artist.  Robert and his team will not allow you to make a design mistake.  They see things with a designer's/artist's eye and make recommendations - then they execute - and the results are elegant and without defects.  Almost all of our interior paint has some custom texture to it that Robert created and applied with tremendous skill leading to glorious one-of-a-kind results.  The staining the've done on our deck and wine cellar was on extremely high quality wood and required great thoughtfulness, care and skill, which brought out the best in our wood.
Beyond that, these guys know how to solve problems, all kinds of them - properly.  They are totally trustworthy and welcome in our
home whether we are here or not.
