I had a hard time finding someone who had the right combination of master carpentry skill and excellent reviews to do the job. Tom was such a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He returns texts and calls very quickly. He also kept me updated on his schedule until he was able to get to us. He arrived promptly whenever he said he would, and always communicated his progress. Tom’s work is of the highest quality and is absolutely beautiful. The care he takes to make sure that everything is done properly, both cosmetically and structurally was very obvious. I am very picky and I couldn’t find one uneven cut or paint drip…everything he did for us is perfect! He did some things that really went above and beyond like weather barriers and a little lip above the door, so that we won’t have the same rot problem in the future…things that only someone with the utmost skill and experience would think of or take the time to do. Everything we had repaired/replaced looks as if it is original. There was even a mix-up (my fault) about whether we had touchup paint and Tom was more than willing to go and have the paint matched for me last minute. Tom also took care to clean up after himself and leave our property as he had found it. I really felt like Tom took care of our home as if it was his own. He is such a nice and genuine person, who does gorgeous work for a fair price. I am already looking for other projects for him to do for us in the future.
