"Lazaro and his crew members, Fidel, William, and Issac, transformed our back yard from being a dirty and unpleasant hellscape where my wife and I never spent any time to being a beautiful and clean space where we can host parties, cookouts, and relax. The crew was extremely professional, organized, thoughtful, experienced, efficient, and communicative throughout the course of the project. I was quite impressed with their design and planning skills, extensive experience, and passion for their work. My wife and I own a small row house with a small back yard, which presented unique challenges to the crew: no back yard access except through neighbors’ properties. The crew handled this challenge well by being communicative and friendly with my neighbors and always cleaning up the space at the end of each working day. They always ensured that the fencing and hardscaping looked good from both sides of the property line, so that my neighbors were also happy! Another challenge was that an adjacent property is about 3 feet above grade and not pleasant to look at from our yard. Lazaro’s planning and vision for a beige brick half-wall, topped with wooden lattice flower boxes was a great finishing touch that provided a beautiful transition between the red brick paver patio and the elevated wooden fence to block the view of the adjacent property. The crew carefully planned their work from the beginning, so that there were no surprises at the end as the finishing touches were put on and the fence was erected. My wife and I are also confident that the money we spent on this work will be a great investment—not only for enjoying our new home, but also in the resale value some day in the future. I wouldn't recommend another company to do pavers, concrete, or landscaping work. The attention to detail was absolutely amazing! They transformed the front and the back of my home with beautiful pavers, hand cutting each piece and laying each one of them so symmetrically. I've had at least half a dozen neighbors stop in to see their work and ask for a business card! And the clean up...my goodness. Each day they wrapped up everything, put tools away, and keep everything so tidy and clean. I really appreciated that. No mud and dirt everywhere...it was incredible! During my consult, I shared my vision with Jose and his team created the design for the back patio, the walkway, and a new front porch. I trusted his expertise and wow - it is so beautiful. He and his team: power washed my house, patio and shed, cleared more leaves and sticks than I'd like to admit, replace some fence panels and hauled an entire trailer full of junk to the dump for me all in 2 days!! Along with other small things like moving some stuff around the yard. I already have more work lined up with them, like gutter and soffit replacement and some concrete work. They are local to Lusby so it's nice to have a reliable company in my neighborhood 😊"

"Our driveway was big enough for 1 car and we wanted it expanded to fit 2 cars plus have a walkway installed connecting the driveway to the main walkway leading up to the house. Tillerman Gardens was recommended to me by a friend. Jesse and his crew were wonderful to work with from start to finish. Jesse was very responsive to my request for an estimate. He patiently listened to what we wanted, asked great questions to get clarity and made some really good suggestions on things we hadn't thought of (i.e. adding river rocks to the grassy part at the edge of the driveway to ease getting in and out by the 2nd car). All the members of his crew were very nice and kept the yard looking clean at the end of each day. Work was done in the timeframe given to us. We are so happy with the end result! Attached are before and after photos. Would definitely hire them again for future projects."

"I hired East Coast Landscape Design to take care of a sump pump drainage problem under my deck, as well as install a stone patio under the deck. They did a wonderful job with both. Mark designed the project and answered any questions I had. He provided all the necessary information and design plans to obtain approval for the project from my homeowners association. Katie was very helpful with scheduling, billing and answering gereral questions. Roberto and crew did a great job installing the patio and cleaning up afterwards. The patio looks great and the drainage issue has been taken care of. I wold definitely hire them again and/or recommend them to a friend."

"Falls Church Paving did a great job. Overall, they delivered on what was proposed. The company was easy to contact. Estimator came to the property promptly and wrote the proposal. Work was scheduled and the crew completed the work in an expedient manner. The prep work was completed better than expected with minimal impact to yard surrounding the drive. Could not see any seems in the paving. Interface with the driveway and the street were exact (no gaps). Driveway was water tested to ensure proper drainage. Crew completed all the hand tamping and left the work site with no issues. Hard to tell they just finished paving the entire driveway. My driveway was widened, repaved, and is now beautiful (interesting adjective, but it really is beautiful)."

"The work was done well overall, but I had to remove some large concrete pieces from the sloping areas around the edges. The original diggers had buried these close to the surface, which would have made landscaping impossible. This was not Jerry's fault, as they did not follow his instructions to break these up, and add them to the substrate rock under the patio base. There were delays due to the very bad weather, out of his control, but the re-scheduling needs could have been communicated better, in my opinion."
