"We actually hired J Hoss for two jobs, and they did a great job with both! Both were tricky operations involving the plumbing of an old beach house, and they came up with effective ways of dealing with every issue. The hot water heater install involved moving an old hot water heater out of a crawlspace and putting a new one in in a closet, and the plumbing lines were a bit wacky due to the way the cottage had been added onto over time. But they solved the problems without tearing out any walls, which was great. The other job involved a DIY project installing a bathroom vanity that we got halfway through before realizing we were over our heads. They were game and jumped right in and worked with us to complete the job. We loved how they collaborated with us and were so cheerful about our amateur efforts! Definitely will hire again."

"My well pump pressure tank needed service and I called Friday and Barbara was very professional and eager to help. She took the time to understand the issue and even reviewed the pictures. Barbara is very passionate about her job. She was able to schedule for Saturday. Dave came out. He called to let me know that he was on his way and let me know when he will arrive. He was very punctual, professional, friendly, and down to business. Totally impressed with the way he solved the problem and made sure that answered all of my questions. This company is very ethical and I would recommend them to anyone."

"Shawn, a plumber with Jiffy, discussed with me what I had observed, checked the water heater, correctly diagnosed the cause as a dirty flame sensor. He cleaned it, problem solved and I was charged just the price of the service call. I was prepared to replace the water heater having had an issue before and not knowing its preventive maintenance history for the first five years as it was installed by the previous homeowners. The fact the plumber did not try to use that to his advantage and sell me or charge me for something I did not need has me writing this review and I will call on them again in the future that is for sure."

"Thought my well tank and switch had gone bad. Called Jerry’s they were out to look at my problem same day. They believed it was the tank and switch as well. Having an old house where the additions were built over the actual well. Anyway they came back the next morning and worked tirelessly to get water back to my home. Unfortunately the well ended up being the problem but they recommended a well drilling company. Awesome job guys!!"

"I previously wrote about this company a few days ago that they had come out and charged me $125 for relighting a pilot light which I felt was not right because I wasn't even aware there would be a fee until after he lit it.  My original problem was with my stove so as soon as he came in he knew right away they couldn't do anything since it was an appliance problem.  Which i understand and also I knew I would pay the $75 service call fee.  So I asked if he could relight my pilot light to my water heater before he left since he was there and he did, but like I said he charged the $125 fee for that. 

I called the Manager of the company and told him the problem.  He was very apologetic and said he would refund the $125.  This made me feel much better about this company.  He didn't give me any hassle. He saw right away that wasnt right and said they were working on eliminating things like that.  Anyway, I was very thankful he did the right thing so these guys are back on my good list..ha.
