"I spoke to Walt about doing an estimate to remove mold that resulted from a leak in our garage roof. Although we were slightly outside of their service area, Walt was agreeable to coming out as I was having difficulty finding and/or receiving a response from other companies with the proper mold removal certifications. Walt was able to fit us into the schedule quickly and was friendly and professional during his visit to perform the air testing and gather the necessary information to provide an estimate for the mold remediation. He contacted us promptly both by email and phone with the estimate and was able to schedule the job, all within a few days.
Kurt supervised the job and went above and beyond the call of duty. Prior to his arrival, we had not yet been able to confirm the source of the leak in the roof. Our roof is quite complex, having many different angles and being steeply pitched above the garage. A roofing company had attempted to locate the leak, but had been unsuccessful as well. Although this was not part of the service, Kurt (an experienced roofer) spent considerable time trying to find the source of the leak himself using our garden hose. He was able to isolate the area and when we called the roofers back, they concentrated on that area and were finally able to repair the roof. It's been a little over 6 months since all the repairs were completed and we've had no further water damage or mold growth. I gave AHS a rating of "N/A" for pricing as I cannot compare their pricing to other companies, who had an opportunity to provide additional estimates, but never responded to inquires. We highly recommend American Home Services.

"Shawn, a plumber with Jiffy, discussed with me what I had observed, checked the water heater, correctly diagnosed the cause as a dirty flame sensor. He cleaned it, problem solved and I was charged just the price of the service call. I was prepared to replace the water heater having had an issue before and not knowing its preventive maintenance history for the first five years as it was installed by the previous homeowners. The fact the plumber did not try to use that to his advantage and sell me or charge me for something I did not need has me writing this review and I will call on them again in the future that is for sure."

"Thought my well tank and switch had gone bad. Called Jerry’s they were out to look at my problem same day. They believed it was the tank and switch as well. Having an old house where the additions were built over the actual well. Anyway they came back the next morning and worked tirelessly to get water back to my home. Unfortunately the well ended up being the problem but they recommended a well drilling company. Awesome job guys!!"

"The interior valve leading to the exterior faucet burst in the middle of the night.  It's possible that there was a little water in the portion between the interior valve and the exterior faucet that froze in the extreme cold, creating pressure backwards on the valve and causing it to burst.  In any case, I called several plumbers in the middle of the night.  No one was able to come during the night but several promised to have someone call me.  Magnolia was the first to do so at about 7:15 a.m.  (Others called later in the morning and I turned them down.)  They promised to have the tech on site at 9 am. 
The tech arrived at 9:45 a.m., and didn't give me a call in advance as I'd requested.  That's the reason for the low marks on punctuality. 
However, once the tech arrived everything went smoothly.  He was courteous and professional and replaced the valve in less than an hour.  He also advised me on the proper procedure for draining the exterior pipe in the future.  At my request, he was able to work within the fairly-small existing access hatch, which prevented me from having to repair the ceiling after he was done.
I do think the price is a bit steep for the relatively simple repair.  They charge $75 to come out and don't give you an estimate until they've seen the project.  Makes sense, but also means you're in it for $75 before ever knowing what it's going to cost.
Overall, I was pleased and would use them again.
