We estimated the cost for the job and it came in just about the same as we calculated based on the amount of product and time to install. "I was satisfied with every aspect of our crawl space encapsulation process. Doug Harkey came out and provided a very detailed estimate, including a detailed sketch of my crawl space and pictures of problem areas. His estimate was reasonable and provided several options in different price ranges to accommodate us financially. I especially liked the videos he included so we would know exactly what to expect during the encapsulation. Prior to the job commencing, their electrician came out to install a new circuit for our new dehumidifier. His work was done quickly and efficiently, and the new circuit was run with no damage to our drywall. Another crew also came one morning to replace our crawl space access doors with insulated doors. All work was very timely and professional. When Jesse Marshall and his crew showed up on the week of the encapsulation, they arrived early as scheduled and stayed on the job all day each day until the job was completed. Jesse and his crew were very professional and friendly and set to work quickly removing all of our old insulation and vapor barrier and sprayed all wood surfaces with mold inhibitor. They clearly communicated what they would accomplish each day and they made steady progress until the job was completed. The new vapor barrier and rigid insulation was professionally installed and permanently fastened to my foundation wall and all seams were neatly taped. As an engineer, I crawled under the house at the end of the job, and I found nothing wrong with the installation. We got exactly what we paid for. The AprilAire dehumidifier was much quieter than I thought it would be and I'm pleased with its installation and performance. Makes about as much noise as our refrigerator. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with our decision to hire Stable Foundations. I would definitely hire them again if needed."

"PJ is a nice guy and genuinely wanted us to be happy with his work. That said, it would have been helpful if he had actually drawn up plans and gone over them with us, working out details, before beginning the job. We also would recommend that demolition not begin until all necessary materials to complete the job have been purchased and all important materials are actually in his possession. Our estimated five week job ended up taking more than two and a half months - all that time without a usable bathroom! In fairness, much of the delay was not PJ's fault - but by the time we got to the last stages of the job, he was feeling rushed to complete it and we were just ready to have it done. As a result, we compromised on several issues and the end result was a bathroom that looked good, but was not what we had really wanted. I would also recommend that PJ either better train or monitor the young men he had doing the demolition work. Although they were friendly and polite, they managed to poke a hole in the wallboard of the adjacent room while tearing down the bathroom walls. They also were careless in dumping debris out the window - some of it landing on one of our shrubs, essentially destroying it. PJ repaired the damaged wall and we didn't even tell him about the shrub, but it left us feeling like we had let some people into our home who were careless with our home. On the other hand, Ernest, the man PJ had do the tile work for us, did a beautiful job and was consistently responsive, polite and professional."

"They are wonderful painters, and Julie is learning how to to do this, but Mickey does so much. Sandy did a raw job for us. We don't have a porch or overhang for the front door, and when the wind and water came down, it came out more at an angle towards the house, and it got into the large window that we have over the door. The water got into the caulking and sat there, so we had a mildew smell. We called a company and said we had a smell and we didn't know where it was. The company said I should take pictures and send them to them. Mickey was here doing the painting, and I told him about the mildew and he took pictures, and I got reimbursed. Mickey did an excellent job of cutting away, and there was one place that was covered in Mildew and he replaced that. He is a Jack of all trades. He was extremely prompt. They were walking in the door when they said they would be here."
