"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

"Matt and Josh were excellent to work with in every way.  They were personable, professional, and very good communicators.  It was apparent that both truly care about doing quality work.  Any time I had a question they were responsive.  
We couldn't be happier with the results.  Matching the look of the distressed white cabinets that already existed in the house was not easy, but the additions look great.  The doors they created for under the kitchen sink are the greatest testimony to how well the new work fits in with the old - no one seeing our kitchen would suspect those doors haven't been there as long as the others around them.
They really listened to our concerns and cared about meeting our needs.  We wanted the cabinetry around and over the washer and dryer done in such a way that, when necessary, we could still conveniently access the fixtures in back or remove the units.  A lot of thought was put into making sure the final design did just that.
I would use Finely Finished Woodworking again and highly recommend them.

His painting went well though speed seems to trump care and preparation (He painted over some unsanded spackle repairs). My main problem was that instead of the two painters that were advertised, it was him and what I believe was his girlfriend who was inexperienced and sometimes just watched him paint. It should have been advertised as one painter and a helper. The price though was very reasonable and the finished product was adequate. He is likable and I believe honest and trustworthy. I would use him again especially if it was a project that just needed to be knocked out."
