"We have used Carolina Carpenters to do major work on our home. It was built in 1982 and had been neglected by aging parents for more than a decade. There were major foundation problems, the windows needed to be fixed, the copula over the garage was falling down, and the whole house needed to be painted. We consulted with our neighbors and interviewed a half-dozen firms before selecting this one; and we couldn't have made a better choice. The work was performed in an excellent manner with great attention to detail. The craftsmanship was outstanding. They solved problems easily, consulted us when needed, kept in touch on an ongoing basis so we always knew the status of the job, the job site was always clean and tidy, and they were honest and straightforward. They were quick to adapt and more than happy to accommodate and offer potential solutions or ideas to improve upon what we originally discussed. We began this project 1,000 miles away. We had never met Orlando, but were impressed with our initial conversation over the phone. He was the only one that went out to our home and gave us an estimate. What sold us was he said he was going to treat our project/home just like it was his. He started the project and kept us posted along the way. There were some tricky aspects, as we live on a steep slope, and some wood support beams were bent by the tree strike. Cam was our team’s leader and he was great, explained everything they were doing, and the repair is so good that you can’t tell the roof was ever damaged.
