I had originally called Home Depot to do the job but they couldn't do it because the door entry of my water heater closet was too small to remove the old water heater. The frame had to be taken out and I was told to call a door framer or take it off myself. I figured I would just call a handyman who could do it all. Glad I did. Fast, efficient, professional, and quality work product. Oh, and he saved me a few hundred dollars from Home Depot's estimate. Now having him repair my roof trim boards."

"After some research I thought I had acquired the correct part to repair my kitchen faucet myself. Shortly after starting the job I realized I may have the part but not the tools and/or skills to do the job. I consulted Angie's List to find a plumber who could do the job. I liked what I read about Neighborhood Plumbers and gave them a call. <br /> The plumber, Larry, came by within 2 days of me calling him and arrived a few minutes early. Very friendly and personable and professional. After telling him what I wanted done and discussing a water pressure problem along with a marked slowdown in the amount of hot water coming from my kitchen faucet he went right to work. He quickly determined that the part I had would not fix the problem I was having. He suggested I contact the manufacturer of my faucet and see if they would replace my faucet under their warranty. <br /> He took the time to explain to me why my water pressure was not as good as it should be and what would be required to fix it. He asked me to call him back after I received the replacement parts and gave me an estimate of what it might cost to make the required repairs. He did not charge me anything for his time even though he was here at least 30 minutes. I was expecting a charge for a service call at least. <br /> I contacted the manufacturer of the faucet and they agreed to replace my old faucet under their warranty. I received the replacement parts and called Neighborhood Plumbers and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment Larry called me and advised me he was on his way. He arrived early for out appointment and went right to work. Still very friendly and professional. <br /> He did all the required repairs in approximately 2 1/2 hours and left me a happy guy. It is very refreshing to find a person that does what he says he will do quickly and for a reasonable and fair price. <br /> I highly recommend Neighborhood Plumbers and am sure I will contact them again should I have any other plumbing problems. Pricing was at the high end of the quote range, but not obscene, and what I received in return was a white-glove service using an enclosed trailer with an experienced professional. Complete inspection of the car before and after, with pictures noting the exact condition of the car, interior and exterior - including the milage and contents of the glove box. This is not a subcontracting / middle-man company like so many auto transport vendors are - they bid on and perform the work themselves through their well-established and successful freight business. I wouldn't hesitate to put another high-value automobile into their care."

The only thing I didn't think of was covering the kitchen before he went to work and ground out the old grout, which turned into a fine dust coating everything in the kitchen. I only wish he'd warned me about it, and I didn't think to ask. That was the only hiccup, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for quality repairs to tile! <br />"

"Mr. Hopper came out and assessed the situation. His employee came out later that week and was able to repair the tile. Then came out and installed the shower door when the tile had set. He had to come out again because the doors were installed in the wrong direction, but he did not charge to us to fix it."
