Tom advised me to consider the value of repairing, parts costs and time required, vs. a new purchase and the effort to repair was not going to be simple. We chatted about the pros/cons a lot. We do use repeat subcontractors for specialized activities that we are not licenced to do such as electrical or plumbing. Our main activities are home remodeling and home building but also do commercial work. We do just about everything in a house from drywall to tile, trim work, and flooring.
