"Maybe this is the standard charge for plumbing, but an hour and 45 minutes costs $441.17. $189 for clearing a stoppage and another $189 for putting a few parts on my toilet on a Wednesday morning. I was at work when it was done but talked to Nerf on the phone. Rather unpleasant fellow - he refused to believe me when I told him I saw water coming from the toilet base. He said the wax seal was OK, but offered no other explanation. Called Slaughter on two occasions two weeks apart. Both plumbers they sent argued and left the jobs unfinished (one did not cap the cut-out behind the house correctly and left the hole unfilled, the other guy only caulked three sides of the toilet and did not line the tank up correctly). I finished both their jobs. Sub standard quality and service at a premium price. Not the kind of people I would deal with again."

Joe sat down at our dining room table and mapped it all out; showing us video of each problem point as well as what was salvageable & gave us a price. We signed off on it. With much apprehension on our part knowing our home was about to be dissected, Elliot and John arrived to start work. They were prompt, respectful, & empathetic to our dilemna. They were also insistent about putting protective paper down everywhere they worked to protect the flooring. At the end of the day, they swept, vacuumed, and mopped any debris that was remaining. This was the standard throughout the entire engagement. Their workmanship and attention to detail was spot on. All of Joe’s guys were phenomenal. John, Elliot, Matt; I cannot remember all their names, were consummate professionals of the highest degree. I would not hesitate to recommend APEX Plumbing."
