"Basement was a total wreck before they showed up.  Was in great shape afterwards.  I only but $1 in the cost because I forget what it was now.  All I know is that when I wrote the check I did not feel that the cost was excessive.

"We were faced with a difficult situation moving between nursing homes during the COVID crisis. To make matters worse the "move from" location facility director was really difficult to work with (completely awful) and limited us to only 2 people for the move which was unexpected and unnecessary . This left me unable to help pack boxes and all I could do was help with the front door while the two guys did all the work, packing and moving . Through extreme frustration, the guys handled it very well and packed all the boxes for me. It was a bit ugly but the bottom line is that they got it done and made the best of a extremely bad situation on the move out side. Move-in was a breeze outside of unscrambling the boxes. The experience and situation would have been catastrophic if the guys did not step-up. I am thankful they worked through it and got the job done. Many and most sincerest thanks!"

"I was impressed with Damien and American Eagle from the moment I contacted them (after reviewing companies on Angie's List). I called about a month before the move, contacted 4 companies and American Eagle was the only one that offered me an overall estimate based on the stuff we wanted moved, not an hourly rate. I was impressed with that and liked the quote so we choose them to be our movers.
Once moving day weekend came around, I realized we had a lot more boxes than estimated. It was Sunday, and so I couldn't call ahead of time to explain...I was hoping that they would be ok with it. When Damien and crew arrived, I explained the situation and he showed me the new estimate w/ the total boxes. Even the new total (original  quote was $537 with a Angie's list discount), it was around the same and lower than the "other" guys I contacted initially.
 As far as the move went - the guys were fast in both loading and unloading. I was very impressed, and they never complained - even when it was discovered that the tenant across the hall from us was ALSO moving and they had to share the elavator w/ another crew. Will definitely reccomend them to anyone in the future - fair pricing, professional and quick...they definitely made moving day a lot less stressful!

"My experience with Kevin Teppo from Teppo's Interiors was very positive from the initial phone call to the final stage of the installation. After discussing what I was looking to have done over the phone, Kevin brought carpet samples to my house. I appreciated the fact that  Kevin spent time explaining how he works directly with a supplier enabling him to keep his pricing down and the different grades of carpeting he had to offer. He and his two- man crew were punctual and completed the job in a timely fashion. They kindly rolled up the old carpet and padding and put it outside neatly along my driveway. They also put back the furniture when they were done. My house was left neat and ready to go. Kevin provides "old fashioned" service----out to provide the best for his customer.

"It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."

Did a good job, providing 2 layouts to choose from.  Completed design and sent email and snail mail paint and furniture samples in a little over a month from starting the process.  The previous estimate was 2-3 weeks so it wasn't so late.  My only disappointment was the design was not for the complete room.  They told me that the missing area was considered an entry way or hallway and could be designed for an additional fee.  I did not want to pay an additional and accepted their explanation, but on second thought, in my opinion, it isn't really separate.  There is a large archway one-third of the way into the room, but I have never considered it as two separate rooms and no one visiting my home has ever mentioned it.  Every room has an entrance.  I wouldn't call the way to get into a room as a separate room. Other than that, I would say a got a great deal overall.

"We called and got a quick response, she was on time for our meeting. And we had a deep cleaning done. Then set up a schedule for her to come back and do regular visits to keep cleaning. She has been wonderful. I can’t lie and say we haven’t put out some tests with money or jewelry, and she has passed every one. Shes honest and trustworthy. (Important as we have her in our home when we are not there now too)"
