"We got a very competitive quote from Raymond Strantz with TRS Builders. He seemed quite knowledgeable about roofing so we hired TRS to tear-off and re-shingle our older house in Minneapolis. The roof has some challenging conditions with steep slopes, a stucco dormer, brick chimney, valleys, etc.. I asked Raymond to quote Owens Corning hail resistant shingles, which was not the usual brand TRS provides but they did a very nice job installing them. "This is the second time we hired J & B Roofing to work on our house. We had 35 year old deteriorated Masonite lap siding. The old siding was removed, a layer of insulation was installed, along with Tyvek House Wrap under the new siding. J & B Roofing supplied many color samples for us to select from. Our house has brick on the lower 1/3 of the front. We had J & B Roofing install vinyl siding that has the appearance of hand split shakes above the bricks to the soffit. We installed vinyl dutch lap siding on the sides and back of the house. The gable ends of the house & garage had the dutch lap installed at the same angle as the roof line. Ever challenge we presented to J & B Roofing was met with the response, "WE CAN DO IT". When the job was completed, once again the entire area was cleaned up of all debris. Whenever we need any repairs, they will be our first call to see if what we need done, they are able to do. We are very satisfied with them and highly recommend their services."
