"Got to my place later than expected because they were stuck on another job which is understandable. Did not finish my job until after 12:00 am in the morning. My job took longer than anticipated. I was given one price at the beginning and that's what we anticipated paying because I am on a budget. After the job was finished we were handed a bill that was much more than what was quoted. I was a very upset about that. I know that it took longer and they had to go back and forth to the truck to get supplies, the only thing is I wish I was informed of this during the job so I would know what to do. What if we didn't have the money? Anyway the job was done good and we are pleased with the outcome. So far our sink is working properly and good. We had a double sink installed, the faucet and we have a water omosis machine that had to get hooked up, so it did take a lot of time because piping had to be changed from a single sink to a double. I would recommend this company."

"I found Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc. using Angie's List and I selected them because they were rated highly and were nearby. Jay did a fantastic job. He arrived on time and was extremely professional throughout the entire repair. He even brought his own doormat to wipe his shoes on before entering the house. He provided estimates before starting the repairs and made sure I clearly understood what repairs needed to be done. Originally, we thought only one pipe (coming out of the house) needed to be replaced that fed the sprinkler system, but Jay discovered that the vacuum breaker had also cracked. Since he didn't have that part on his truck, he went to a plumbing supply store that was a little farther away to buy a good quality part rather than to a big box store. He returned promptly and replaced the broken vacuum breaker carefully. Throughout the entire repair, Jay was willing to answer all of my many questions, and he explained each part of the process as he was doing it. He checked both the toilet and the pipe feeding the sprinkler for leaks when he had finished the repair and made sure everything was working properly. I even observed that Jay kept a very clean and neat truck with everything labeled clearly so it could be found easily. Also, when I called to make the appointment, the woman on the phone, who was extremely polite, suggested that I take the first appointment in the day so there would be no waiting. I admire those who clearly take pride in their work and who complete their work carefully and competently. I would highly recommend Jay as a service technician as well as Mako Plumbing & Heating, Inc."

Anthony and asst Hector, assessed the problem and were able to fix the pipe problem that was driving me crazy. Their professionalism and knowledge was impressive. I expected to have a huge hole in the ceiling, but they were able to just make a small opening to get to the pipe. They were punctual, worked fast and clean, and I will definitely use them again."

"Joe from Jetter Kleen called and I asked him to come over and give an estimate. I had expected another vender to come by, but they never showed. Jetter Kleen’s price was reasonable, so I hired him on the spot. He worked quietly and diligently to complete not only the change of a faucet, but he fixed the hoses and piping and made sure every aspect of the job was perfect. It was not a simple job, as he has to cut the old faucet out and drill to make the drain hole large enough to fit the new push button drain. I could swear he had a silent drill as I expected to hear loud drilling, but had to strain to hear his drill. Joe work was neat, clean and impeccable. He left the work area spotless, which made me happy. Before he left he showed me under the sink to see where he changed hoses, he made sure there were no leaks and again, his work was impeccable. I have already told friends and family on Long Island about Jetter Kleen and I would highly recommend him to others."

"Jimmy is a true professional with a solid work ethic. I was given a clear quote for the work and a thorough explanation of what needed to be done. I would certainly call them again for any future plumbing work. We decided to go with JRS Maintenance for a leak in our cast iron water pipes, which later turned into a bigger job. The nearby pipes were already showing signs of decay, so after an honest conversation with Jimmy, we just settled on changing that whole section leading up to the small leak with PVC (a much-needed upgrade). He arrived on time and made sure to call in advance. The old plumbing came with some concerns, which were shared in advance, but overall the job went smoothly.
