Mike and his crew came only a few minutes later than the scheduled time, but he promptly notified me of his new arrival time anyway to check if the new time still works, which I appreciate. The price he quoted was reasonable to me. Because of the age of our house and the way it was constructed, things weren't straightforward as the work began, but Mike was patient and figured out a way to install the lights the way we wanted. Everyone was courteous and kept us apprised of the status of the installation. They cleaned up after everything was done and left the place the same way they found it."

"A bit conflicted on how I feel. First off, the gentlemen who did the work were awesome! Fast, efficient, polite, professional, courteous...outstanding. My problem, however, involves the fact that I purchased the 4 recessed light installation offer after asking SPECIFICALLY if it would cost more to have them also remove the fluorescent light box. The response was "no." I was very clear in my request. However, once the installers arrived and called the office about the light box, I was charged an additional $100 to have the box removed. I was too prepared to have the work done to argue about the additional price, and would LIKELY have paid it up front had they been honest from the get-go. All-in-all, it left a bad taste in my mouth, and that's the primary reason why I gave them lower scores on professionalism and price. The offer also mentioned a "comprehensive electrical inspection." That is VERY misleading, because all they do is make sure the lights they installed work. Note: their package does NOT include drywall repair, so I have a huge mess in my ceiling and am no looking forward to the added cost of hiring someone to repair that. If you don't have to have any lighting removed, there should be no drywall issues for you, however. I would like to think my experience was an anomaly, so I might consider using them again, as the quality of the work was mostly fine."

"Fantastic! My husband is a heart patient and needed help immediately to move an irrigation line erroneously placed by our previous irrigation company. Maria and Ramon showed up immediately to help. This was after I contacted 5 other people to help and none responded. They are awesome people and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Extra work has been done since Ramon is very handy in many trades!"

"I needed the trim replaced on 3 can lights on my front and back porch. Possibly the simplest home repair job in history. The only reason I could not do the repair myself was that I don't own a 23' ladder or scissor lift myself. Another large company that Home Advisor paired me up with wasted my time by insisting they "had to see the job in person to give me a free quote". Their salesman tried to convince me I had other electrical needs and in the end quoted me $1,500 just to replace the TRIM on three can lights. I was so frustrated with the attempted ludicrous upsell and offended by the assumption that I might be stupid enough to pay anyone $1,500 to replace 3 can light trims. Shane quoted me an hourly rate that was quite fair and got two men out to do my job within two days. Lucas and Paul were prompt, professional, polite and clean cut. They arrived with all the necessary tools and ladders to get the job done in one trip. And although the job was super simple, it was evident from talking with them that they know their business inside and out, as well as many other types of home repairs. Best of all, since they were there with such a tall ladder they very kindly helped me out with two other projects I had around the house that required a very tall ladder. They went above and beyond in helping me tackle my honey do list. It was so nice to find honest, down to earth, hardworking local folks that you can trust to help out with home projects. Unscrupulous contractors truly infuriate me, and sadly there a are bunch out there. I will be keeping Murphy's Electric's contact info for all future electrical needs, as well as passing it on to my friends. And I will be requesting Lucas and Paul as my technicians in the future. It was a pleasure to give my hard earned money to a hard working company that didn't try to scam me."

All work was done professionally & efficiently, as I had acquired the necessary supplies that they don't carry on their truck- designer outlet covers, matching designer switches, dimmer, etc. Planned the work with Efron in advance, to determine what could reasonably be done in the timeframe, provided I had the materials I wanted to use. The work was handled within the timeframe specified by the Angie's Deal. No extra labor costs! Costs below only include purchase of replacement LED light fixture & Angie's List Deal. Doesn't include items I purchased to install. I've use them before on an Angie's Deal. Always quality work, done efficiently."
