"DMV Kitchen and Bath RECOMMENDATION 2023 March In December 2022-January 2023, DMV Kitchen and Bath completely gutted and rebuilt 2 bathrooms for me (foundation, pipes, electric – everything). In addition, they restored several 110 year-old door transoms, installed new doors (5 panel solid wood) throughout the house, upgraded some woodwork, installed two pocket doors, and painted a few rooms. We used high quality materials throughout, not builder-grade. This is the third time I’ve asked DMV Kitchen and Bath to do a major renovation in one of my properties over the last 10 years. Each time they have done superior work when it comes to: • Doing service properly on first try • Promptness • Letting you know cost early • Neatness of work • Pleasantness • Advice on service options and costs • Overall quality • Prices I cannot recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath more highly. "Allen Metcalf is an artist. He doesn’t just build something, he creates. This is the second project he has done for us and replaced a small deck outside our sunroom that as rotting. Allen pointed out that more than one piece of structural wood needed replacing. He also pointed out where the deck and addition weren’t properly anchored to the house. He submitted a 14 page estimate detailing everything he would be using and doing. If you want the best and don’t mind paying a few dollars more for his precise, professional, and well crafted work, you need to contact Allen."

"I chose the 2 hr for $169 deal because I wanted to have two ceiling fans replaced. Fletcher called to confirm the time he would arrive and showed up 15 minutes early. Great! He set about removing the first old ceiling fan only to discover that I had the wrong kind of fan for my slopped ceiling. He told what I needed to get instead. Luckily, I had a couple of other jobs for her to do since I had already paid for the two hours. He put everything back the way he found it in terms of the old ceiling fan and helped me box up the new one that won't work on that ceiling. Overall, a good experience. I found him helpful, professional, and courteous. The two light fixtures he ultimately worked on look great.

"The dry wall specialist came out at the appointed time and date. Followed through for three days, coming when he said he would - all on time. He did a superb job of drywall repair and matching the 17 year old paint that was on the walls. I would highly recommend Jim Ness and Co for any job.
