"They were very professional from the sales to the installation. The installer was very friendly and respectful. He did a great job and cleaned up before he left. He put drop cloths down on the carpet before walking on it. He did a great job and was very quick. He even did a little extra reinforcing of the floor before installing the shower. I'm very happy with my new shower."

"Great company, they replaced all of our windows before and we brought them back for a tub/shower replacement. Project manager Rex and installers Bill and Billy were wonderful. Won't hesitate to call them again."

"I am very happy with my new shower. Takesha and John D. Were amazing. Takessha walked me through everything that they were going to do, take out tub, remove all tile and drywall.I had a drain pipe, that ran along my tub on the outside wall. We worked it out that, Takesha would have to pack out the wall a extra 21/2, to make it all work. Takesha and John really impressed me., they were amazing. They were super clean and coved everything. I am so very happy with there work and how sweet they both were. Thanks again Takesha and John D. And West Shore home"

"Chris with Friesen Family Renovations, LLC was very professional and thorough in the work he has completed. He installed a new screen door, replaced my tub stem and faucet, repaired my subfloor in the kitchen and installed brand new LVP flooring to replace old and water damaged flooring. He also mounted a television for me, and did some drywall repairs as well. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for quality and dependable work!"

So happy with the work and he was very courteous and respectful while he was working in my home. I would hire again in an instant."

FAQs for shower installation and replacement projects in Bedford, OH

You should regrout tile every 10 to 15 years, provided it is well-maintained with regular cleaning and sealing. Over time, grout can deteriorate due to exposure to moisture, foot traffic, and the use of cleaning agents. If you start to see cracks, discoloration, crumbling grout, or loose tiles, it’s a sign that regrouting is needed sooner.

The most effective way to clean grout involves a combination of powerful cleaning agents and the right tools. Using a dedicated grout brush intensifies the cleaning process, ensuring a deep clean. Create a powerful homemade solution by mixing baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, and dish soap to break down deeply embedded dirt. After cleaning, reseal the grout to lock in protection and maintain its appearance.

You can't regrout tile without removing the existing grout and expect good, long-lasting results. You must replace the old grout when it begins to crumble and fail. New grout cannot properly adhere to existing grout, meaning moisture will still reach the damaged layer and cause additional water damage, which will be more costly to deal with in the long run.

Visible indicators, such as cracks, stains, chipping, and mold growth, signal that your grout is compromised and no longer maintains its bonding strength. If you notice these issues, cleaning alone won't restore the grout's integrity. In such cases, consider complete or partial regrouting to preserve your surfaces and prevent further damage.
