"We needed to have our 40-year-old bathtub converted into a walk-in shower for my elderly mother and have the bathroom flooring replaced. After an exhaustive search of potential companies, I came across Mako Shower & Bath. Shawn visited us for a consultation and gave us an opportunity to explore the different design options. He was very thorough and provided all of the information we needed about how it would be installed. For accessibility, we decided to have a folding seat and two grab bars installed in the shower. Once all of the parts were delivered to Mako, the install itself took less than a day. The installers, Kevin and Riley, did a fantastic job and we are extremely pleased with the new shower and flooring. It not only looks amazing, it addresses all of the safety and accessibility issues we had with the old bathtub and floor."

The installers Jordan and Tim were very customer oriented and technically skilled. They arrived per the schedule and completed the installation in a very reasonable amount of time. All while being courteous enough to answer all of our questions. The installation was very high quality, and included replacement of the existing drywall behind the shower with plywood sheets. This provided a rock solid backing for the acrylic material that we selected. Additionally, all of the components used were of stellar quality. "The project manager of the remodel, Jason, was always in contact with me about when workers would be at the house and to see how everything was going. He also stopped by the house to check on the work. Ismar, the head employee of the job, was very good. He put down tarps to cover the floors and put plastic about the furniture and cabinet in bathroom. He also put up plastic between the bathroom and the bedroom to minimize the dust. The workers were very professional. The tile work in the shower was great. They also had to hang some drywall to fix a closet and paint it. It looks like that was always how the closet was. The shower come out beautiful. I would highly recommend the company and would differently use them again."

"They promised to get done as quickly as possible since I had to move out of the house because I could not use the downstairs bathroom. They said it would take 3 days plus an extra day for the grout to harden and they finished. right on time. The bathroom looks wonderful. And I have to mention that they did a great job cleaning up afterward. Additionally, they came back a week later to install a new sink faucet, at which time they also installed grab bars in the shower and the new blinds in the bathroom window, all at no additional labor cost. "We needed to replace a Peachtree hinged patio door that provides access to our walk out basement. We have used AES for 5 remodeling projects over the past 5 years and they have always done excellent work. So, I called Dave Hill, our salesman at AES. Dave came out to the house promptly to take a look at the door and give us an estimate. He recommended a ProVia door as the best value. Mark, their door installer, came out to take measurements. The door was delivered to the house and Mark came out to do the install. The original door was a non-standard size and an unusual install. The only way the new door was going to fit was if they removed the inside drywall, floor tile and vinyl floor around the door, installed the door and then replaced everything. Mark was willing and able to do the work but after more discussion we agreed that the job was getting out of hand. AES ordered a seconds door (at no cost to us) that could be installed from the outside. Mark came out a second time and installed the door in about 5 hours. The new door fits perfectly. The inside finishing work looks great and the outside is well sealed and looks great."
