"Agron evaluated our roof and how it was a poor quality job from the original construction. He offered us options including a simple fix (which due to the original construction probably wouldn't last) or to replace that section of the roof with a proper installation. We opted for the proper installation and it looks great and we feel good for that area of the roof (other areas could still be a problem as he noted, but we will deal with those areas as needed). They were also great at cleaning everything up and making sure we were satisfied with the state of the yard (after some bushes had slight damage). Overall I was very impressed and wouldn't hesitate to use them again if we need roof work."

At the end of the day the cost estimates of all four contractors exceeded our desired budget so we decided to not move forward with the project.  JD's bid was significantly higher than the other bids we received.  However, the detail with which JD prepared his bid gave me confidence that his bid was probably more accurate and the actual cost of the project was likely going to exceed the bids prepared by the other contractors.  While we didn't end up hiring JD I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a high quality general contractor with a commitment to customer service.

"We purchased our home 4 years ago and one of the items on our fixit wish list was a drop down ladder for our garage attic. John from Paladin was quick to respond to my emails. I sent a few pictures of my garage ceiling and he said his company can help me. He said he would bring all fasteners and we purchased  a couple 2x4 he said he may need and  the the drop down from our local hardware store. Upon arrival he found he didnt have the correct fasteners. Being on a time crunch for a 4hr  job I went and pickerd them up.The install went good and they finished in the 4 hour window so no additional fees were incurred. I guess the only thing I felt uncomfortable with was the conversation afterwards that they really dont make any money  off doing these type of one charge jobs. I felt it wasnt very professional.

"They completed the job in one hour. Randy called back the day I originally called and we made the appointment. They were a few minutes late, but very apologetic explaining the traffic was bad (we've had some bad weather). Overall it was a very pleasant experience from start to finish."
