"They showed up to do the remodel around 9am placed mats from the front door to the bathroom, to keep our floors clean. There were 4 very friendly men who did the work. They were professional, explained what they were going to do so there would be no surprises. 8 hours later they were finished. They cleaned everything up afterwards leaving no mess for us to clean. The work looks great and we are very happy with how it turned out."

"Joe and his team completed the project well. They were professional and punctual, and the area stayed tidy while they were working. He worked hard to solve an unexpected delay due to a delivery issue! We would recommend 1st in Home Improvement for your home needs."

"Predatory Sales and Subpar Quality Mad City's process is predatory from start to finish. Three hours of high-pressure sales tactics in my own home, even after I repeatedly stated I needed to discuss it with my husband. After the installation the field manager acknowledging the wave and gaps in the wall, he told me that while it didn't meet my expectations, it met their "standard of error." Let that sink in: Mad City Bath?s official policy is that crooked and wavy is good enough. If you value your money, or want a shower that is actually square and plumb, stay far away from this company. They perform subpar work, hide behind automated phone lines when things go wrong, and will abandon you the moment they have your money. Hire a reputable contractor instead."

"Meeting initially with Nolan, co-owner of Kitchen Brothers, he laid out the process of rehabbing our kitchen using terminology so my wife & I could understand. Each feature was measured & a computerized layout was presented with a specific design of what we were looking for in the final product. Products were presented in the showroom for specific kitchen features for color and design. Extra effort was provided in the flooring after first purchase was not consistent coloring so Nolan took the extra time to make the update in flooring to keep project on schedule. Ryan, co-owner and his crew, who are all very knowledgeable, took extra time to give advice on lighting & installing cabinet extras with detailed precision. The crew protected living space during demolition & always cleaned the area after the days tasks were completed. After couple months one product had a crack in cabinet & Kitchen brothers were very responsive in replacing item with detail installation. The whole process was done without pressure and in a timely manner with consideration for our needs & getting our kitchen completed. We would highly recommend Kitchen Brothers to all interested in a job well done from start of project to finish details."

"We love are newly remodeled kitchen, utility room and bar area. American Home Remodeling had previously done a bathroom remodel for us with outstanding results. When Chris indicated that they could complete a full kitchen remodel in 8 weeks while we were in Florida for the winter we immediately booked the job. Our only requirement was that Ben, Cami and John would do the work since they had done such a great job on the bathroom remodel. We were able to follow the progress on the kitchen remodel using face time with Ben. Chris King gave us great advice on selecting everything needed for both projects. We couldn't be happier."

"removing tub and tile did damage to ceiling - they did not repair it. Salesman suggest an oversized soap tray which would not fit anywhere. Their product is WAY over priced. I would not recommend this company."

FAQs for bathroom remodel projects in Bellbrook, OH

You can buy a replacement vanity by selecting a pre-made unit with an integrated sink from a local home improvement supplier. Pre-made vanities are designed for easy installation and compatibility with your existing plumbing. If a ready-made option doesn't meet your needs, consider hiring a custom builder to create a vanity that fits your space and style.

You can purchase a bathroom vanity from major home improvement retailers like Home Depot and Lowe’s or online stores like Wayfair, which offer a variety of pre-made vanities. Visiting local showrooms and bathroom supply stores can also provide professional advice and help you choose the right vanity for your space.

Installing your bathroom vanity flush against the wall enhances stability and prevents shifting. This placement also eliminates hard-to-clean gaps and keeps your vanity securely in place. Building codes often require a minimum clearance of four inches from bathtubs and at least 21 inches of free space in front of the sink for accessibility and safety.

You can upgrade a single vanity to a double vanity by installing additional cabinets, a second sink, and matching fixtures. This process requires additional plumbing adjustments, countertop modifications, and careful alignment to ensure both sinks function correctly. Upgrading to a double vanity enhances bathroom functionality and offers more space, which is especially beneficial for shared bathrooms.

The best vanity top material depends on your budget, style preferences, and maintenance willingness. Materials like quartz or solid surfaces are excellent choices for durability and low maintenance. If you're on a tighter budget, laminate is affordable but less durable. Consider how much traffic your bathroom gets and choose a material that balances cost, appearance, and upkeep.

Installing a bathroom vanity takes between three and six hours. Simple installations may be completed in under three hours, while more complex projects requiring adjustments or plumbing modifications can take up to six hours or more. The installation process includes assembling cabinets, placing the countertop, installing the sink if necessary, and connecting plumbing.
