Scott from Jack of All Trades did a great job repairing the plumbing, testing to make sure it was fixed and no other leaks existed, and repairing the drywall so it looked like it never happened. While he was at it we also tossed a few extra items from the honey-do list and they were fixed like it was nothing. You can tell these guys have a ton of experience, they knew all the tricks to fix everything far easier than I expected. I'd have them back to work on my house again without a second thought."

Despite submitting several requests to other handymen on Angi, Josh was the only businessman to call me personally (and he called within an hour of my submission), to talk to me about what I needed and to set up a time to come out to our home and give us an accurate bid. There was a snow-storm the week that he was set to visit us, and Josh planned ahead of time, working with me to reschedule his visit and communicating throughout the week. In fact, he actually ended up coming to us in his personal vehicle to take a look at my mini projects-- all because he knew that we were in a time crunch to get these things done before our house was sold! He offered both a more affordable/easier solution AND a more expensive-- but more thorough option for each of the items that I had on my list, and I really appreciated that transparency and that forthrightness with us. His suggestions actually helped REDUCE our bid price, below what I was expecting! Les came out and did each job flawlessly. (We had a shower door that was leaking and two interior doors that were not closing, one due to our house settling.) These items were simple enough to do I'm sure-- but I never felt like any corners were cut by any means. These guys handled each task like pros. There's integrity and honesty in what they do and how they operate. I've already referred One Call Home Repair to a few other friends of mine that have had sub-par experiences finding the right handyman and I will absolutely call Josh and team again for our next home!"

"Have hired the Home a Team for about 4 years running to do gutter or roof cleaning. Have always had good experiences & our most recent experience maintained that trend. In December, we took advantage of one of their Fall Specials to have them remove leaves from our (steep, composite) roof, clean the gutters and (woot!) clean the 1st & 2nd fl. windows, solar tubes & skylights. Also apply a zinc phosphate moss treatment. Because it was December, owner Bob let me know that the work was dependent on above-freezing temperatures and, indeed, the week of our job, temps dropped so we rescheduled but that was all communicated clearly & easily. I was fine with that (the only person who needs to be scampering around my roof in the snow is Santa) and we just postponed things a week. (Home Team sends a PDF with comprehensive info on what to move, what to cover, etc. to prepare for roof and/or gutter cleaning, well in advance of the job). On the appointed day, Juan showed up right on time. He was friendly, conscientious and worked very hard all day. The roof looks great (thoroughly cleaned) the gutters flow freely and the windows & skylights are sparkling. While Juan was working on the back of the house, he noticed there a slippery film on our composite deck so offered to clean that off as well. It was a much appreciated bonus. The work was finished by early afternoon and Juan and I walked the yard to be sure I was satisfied. I was. Clean up was thorough. It was a good experience and I am happy to recommend the Home Team to others."
