"The whole transaction went very smoothly. First, the scheduling went exactly as planned. We appreciated that fact that they met a fairly compressed schedule due to our plan to put the house on the market. Regarding templating, we worked with Vito. He was great. He was very professional and had good suggestions regarding backsplash, etc. The team that later came to install the countertop also was very good. They made the seam between slabs very tight; you can hardly see it. In hindsight, the only thing that I would have asked is that they do their cutting in the back alley. I wasn't aware they needed to do cutting on site, and it created a lot a stone dust in my front yard. The company took $25 off my bill in exchange for writing this review, but it does represent my true opinion."

This was an extended and frustrating project, but none of that was Colton's fault. "Dan was AMAZING to work with.  We are fortunate that we are reasonably close to his home and he was very gracious to allow us to come by to meet him and see the floor in his house - Brazilian Teak (Cumaru)- and we fell in love immediately.  So, we changed our minds from Tigerwood to Cumaru and his product is just EXCELLENT.  It also has a nice 30-35% sheen instead of a semi-gloss - so the flooring is that much more rich looking. <br> <br>Unlike most people, Dan's boards come up to 7' long, which gives a much nicer look, especially if one picks a wood with a lot of variation. Most companies only have up to 4' lengths.  That would look like a "patchwork" if the flooring isn't consistent.  We also got really nice 4" wide boards - they look just beautiful. <br> <br>Note: you need to give adequate time for acclimation.  The more the better!  Don't try and rush it - it won't be Dan's fault if you install this stuff too quickly! <br>"

"Andy's installed a natural, wool berber carpet with hypo-allergenic pad and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The product is much better quality than my old synthetic carpet and I now wake up with no congestion and coughing. They used a low VOC glue so there were no strong odors after installation. I had several quotes for this product and the pricing was pretty much the same as the other vendors. There were minor differences in cost of materials and labor, which is why I rated the pricing as "fair". I went with Andy's because they were familiar with the product I wanted. With wool, you want to get someone that is knowledgeable about the material. There were a couple snags with the vendor and sub-contractor, but George at Andy's made sure I was taken care of and the carpet was expertly installed."

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."
