"S&K Reece was thoroughly transparent, knowledgeable, and professional with us at a reasonable price. Kimberly, their admin and Sonny’s wife, was very communicative throughout the process. We needed an external door replaced on our composite deck, but the catch was that the composite flooring was slightly raised right under the door frame, catching the vinyl door at the bottom and causing it to fall apart over time. Sonny answered all our questions from the initial consultation to executing the project with his team. We knew the deck was built cheaply, but didn’t know the door frame was slightly crooked. Sonny handled this unexpected challenge very well and resolved this problem efficiently. Him and his team were professional and great to work with whenever they were here for the project. We foresee future home projects and giving them a call again! Thank you Sonny, Kimberly, and team! Pictures show broken deck door before, then new one installed."

I could not be more pleased with finding Adam Hill of AMH Construction. His crew is personable and knowledgeable as well. The work is 80% complete and the only delay has been rain. He has been patient with my decision making and never once did I feel like I was being talked down to, or that my opinion was not listened to. Attention to detail is superb, quality workmanship is obvious and he problem solved easily. I plan to hire him again for other work if possible."

""Basement - Remodel" doesn't really cover it for our project. We added a great room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. In other words, about half a house. I can describe the Tarantola crew's knowledge and execution, both collectively and individually, in three words: "Attention to detail". I grew up in and around commercial and residential construction and I've done some of every one of the jobs required of Tarantola for our project. I was trained to be 'picky', so I am 'picky'. And, I can honestly say that I am not only happy with what they have done, but also proud of what they did and how they did it. Since the late 80's I've built and/or remodeled homes across several states around the country. And, over time, as those projects unwound, I became increasingly convinced that the work ethic that I grew up around was dying, if not dead. Well, I'm happy to report that we here in the KC area have at least one example to prove that there are still people in the business who care."

"Terrible. Unfortunately, the terms of the contract weren’t fulfilled and we are left finishing a large portion of the remodel and addition. Although we hired Mountain Construction to build an addition and remodel our retirement home and ~93% of funds were provided to Mountain Construction, we were left with ~35%-40% of the overall construction not completed. I would not use nor recommend Mountain Construction for any project one might be considering."

"Had a new home built by these guys 3.5 years ago. We have been fixing things ever since, including but far from limited to six leaks, replacement of one ac/ furnace, They take no responsibility and won?t speak with me. We also discovered that many our appliances including stove and fridge were purchased at a scratch and dent store. They never mentioned this to us. We discovered it when dealing with issues with both fridge and stove. Currently having stucco repair work done. Just saying? they built the house next-door at the same time and the results have been pretty much the same. All I can say, if for some reason you choose Hickock Homes, negotiate your contract very carefully, also be sure you understand the limitations on the so called home warranty. during the build tRay to stay on top of things as much as possible. "I can't say enough good things about Justin and Affinity Construction! Our project went from a wood frame RV carport 20x45 to an enclosed garage. Justin came out several times as we worked through the build plan. Affinity was covering all the bases from foundation to paint color. Justin is great to work with and goes the extra mile to ensure the customer gets what they want. Unfortunately, the city had easement issues on the build site and wouldn't allow a structure to be built. We had no other suitable location for the garage, so the project was scrapped. This is when I decided Affinity Construction would always have my business. Justin returned my deposit, and went further introducing me to other professionals he trusts to bid on the smaller side projects we were going to do while the garage was being built. The true measure of a quality company is how they react when things turn sideways and how they treat their customers when money is no longer changing hands. 10 stars!!"
