And their pricing is extremely fair and reasonable. Job was pruning/thinning out 3 very large trees in my front yard and removal of 8 small junk trees at the back of my property - including removal of all the trimmed branches and removed trees. They clean up the area the work was done as though they were never there. I will use them again for certain."

He assessed both trees, said he could remove the maple without damage to my neighbor's shed, and said the other tree was alright. So... to sum it up,
Eddy was the most knowledgable person we have spoken to about trees.
The quote for trimming the remaining trees in the yard was extremely
cheap.  He was so helpful not only on the
trees we called about, but on recommendations for the future as well!
Now here's the down and dirty...
A certified Aroborist came out for a free estimate to check out our yard.
 He was on time and very nice.  We called to have him look at our
redwoods which haven't been looking so great recently, but he started in
the front yard and gave us some free advice on our trees out there as
well as the backyard.
When we went to the backyardto look at our
redwoods, he said they look healthy and are starting to come back to
life... basically, we don't need his services!!  (Another guy who was
not certified said he would trim it for $600!!!).  Eddy from Double Tree
service (not the other guy) said to leave the remaining 6 trees
alone this season and call him in 6-10 months to come back for a
trimming.
He was SO knowledgable.  Immediately he asked when
we had the patio slate put in, and attributed that to the health of our
trees (apparently the roots had been dug out and the dirt in the back
suffocated the roots on the far side?!  Who knew?).  But he recommended
that we wait to see how the tree responds before trimming it.
The rough estimated quote for trimming all the trees and possibly removing
one (that would eventually damage the slate and brick wall) was
EXTREMELY reasonable.
Bottom line... THEY ARE THE BEST!!!  Definitely hire these guys above anyone else... your wallet and yard will thank you for it.

"We were very pleased and impressed with the service we all received. 5 houses ended up being treated, having lots of live oaks + a few bur oak and red oaks. I had sent a photo of leaves from the infected tree about 7:30 pm and got a call at 9:30 that night! Though Brennon was out of town, he offered to come by late the next day upon his return. So at 7 pm on a Friday night he walked our property and the one next door, closest to our infected tree, taking an inventory, and provided us with an estimate for treatment. His professionalism won us over. (I contacted 4 companies in total, all with certified arborists and oak wilt certification.) On Monday morning his crew arrived and began treating our trees. Our Community Association contacted him also, upon our recommendation, and he has developed a treatment plan for the common area property where the oak wilt obviously began. I will never use another tree company! Next time our trees need trimming, Full Canopy will definitely be the company I'll call!"

"I called this morning at 9:30 and 3 hours later including 1 hour drive from Staten Island to Brooklyn they were here and within 15 minutes had tree limb down and removed! The response was fabulous and I would highly recommend Big Mack,s to anyone. They are punctual and clean. "Spoke with Almighty Tree Service and got a very reasonable estimate on a Monday. By Wednesday 11 am the tree was gone and the yard was perfectly clean. They showed up about 7:30 am the work morning and prepared the site. What I can tell you is that they were very professional. The price was reasonable and the crew very efficient and worked well together. They were in and out in less than 3 hours. The tree was easily 80+ years old and hollowed in some part. It was located in between a fence and a tall structure. They used a huge crane and the owner and operator was incredible when he removed the very large trunk. Every single branch that was cut came down in an exact precise location. Very happy with the job. Will I call then back again, probably next month to do some additional work. We have used several other tree services in the past and this is the one we intend to use in the future."

"We have a locust tree in our backyard, the branches of which were so overgrown they were damaging roofing and storm windows on the house. I called Sunshine and Marcos came down the next day to inspect the tree. He advised trimming branches all around the house, pointing to 2 extremely large branches that needed removal, and also removing 4 dead pine trees against our backyard fence, the largest of which had its roots lifted out of the ground during superstorm Sandy and, as Marcos correctly pointed out, was leaning against the branches of the large locust tree. His crew came down the next day to do the job. For the most part they were clean and professional, however when our neighbor requested that one branch that was growing into his yard be removed, which I believed was one of the larger branches that Marcos had pointed out for removal, his worker stated that that branch was not in the job description and would cost extra to remove. When we asked how much extra, he said he didn't know, the guy that would know was working on the roof, and we never did get a price for that extra branch. Also, some other smaller branches closer to the other side of the house from the large branch I felt weren't trimmed far enough away from the house. All in all, I would describe the job as okay, the crew was clean and removed the worst offending branches, but it could have been a lot better. A message I left on the company's voicemail after the job was completed was never returned.
