"Remodel was immaculately done. I had custom cabinets made from real walnut which came out flawless. I had them remodel 2 more bathrooms after that. They can do pretty much anything you dream of they even installed a smart toilet without batting an eyelash."

"Tony Monteiro was our salesperson. He was respectful of our requests and our budget. Tony came to the condo, took measurements and designed a beautiful kitchen. The cabinets are gorgeous, and the design made the best use of the space available. Tony was able to narrow down the infinite selection of options for cabinets and therefore, made it easier to choose without getting overwhelmed. Tony referred us to merchants in the area (kitchen: Yale appliances, Roma tile shop, Select Stone granite and marble site) all of which were excellent referrals."

"I have now had 4 pickups from this company. Each time it has been with different items: I have had my kitchen remodeled,  a deck torn down and rebuilt, a new roof put on, old fencing disc arded, and a yard cleanup. The only difference in pricing was for the roofing and even though ti was more money it was STILL CHEAPER than a dumpster!!! I don't know how these guys do it, but they pickup on time, without issue andfor the cost quoted. I have turned each of my contractors onto them - now they are using them. SO MUCH cheaper and better service than any dumpster company I have used!"

"The crew was very professional. They were very easy to work with and didn’t hesitate to ask questions which was greatly appreciated. We had Kitchen and Dining room remodeled with all new cabinets and counter tops. The basic foot print didn't change much, but there was some electrical and plumbing for new fixtures. The quality was great, on budget and there were no delays due to AIP. Materials were either purchased directly or through a Kitchen Designer and we did have some delays due to material deliveries. So cost reflects mostly labor."

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Berkshire, MA

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
