We are a custom carpentry company that operates our own millwork. We specialize in custom cabinets, built-ins, bars, and trim-work. We will design/build or work from your plans or with your Interior Designer. We do not subcontract our carpentry work, we are on a mission to revive the (almost) lost art of true wood-working craftsmanship. I have been in business for approximately thirty years. We provide plumbing, heating and air conditioning services from repairs to new installations. We are a small company, the owner (myself) and two fully skilled mechanics. I have a New Jersey Master Plumber's License as well as the required Home Improvement Contractor License. Charges are done by either time and material or a quote. The charge/hourly rate depends upon the specific job. Payment is either COD or payment by a major credit cards. For larger jobs a contract is entered into by James Murphy Plumbing & Heating and the property owner which lays out a payment schedule . For certain tasks we do use reputable and highly skilled subcontractors. Depending upon the job the subcontractor is either paid through James Murphy Plumbing & Heating or a payment arrangement is made between the subcontractor and the property owner. We will be happy to answer questions or provide additional information and references to customers.
