"We hired Jeff to manage an extensive renovation of an older home that we bought in 2021. He managed all elements of the big project including extensive demolition, encapsulating creosote, replacing insulation, installing bathroom vanities, designing and installing a fireplace mantel, tiling a fireplace surround and kitchen backsplash, updating a 1970s kitchen and installing new flooring throughout our home. His communication throughout the 10 month project was excellent - with frequent updates via text, email, and in-person meetings. Jeff managed supply chain challenges, weather delays, and clients with changing ideas (!!) with skill and patience. He was instrumental in bringing our vison to fruition, and was a genuine pleasure to work with."

"It's with disappointment that I am writing this review and will probably not utilize Homeadvisor again. I don't like writing reviews, especially bad ones for small contractors trying to make a living. Vasco Properties was hired to build an 1800sq foot addition under a residence that I had raised. I went with Vasco Properties because he was willing to do the rough framing, let me take over once framing was done and was offering me the chance to purchase materials at his price. When Vasco first took the job and reviewed the plans, Adam, owner, advised he could have it done in two weeks. After the house was raised Adam suggested that I put a steel beam in to make lowering the house easier. He also advised that he could have a steel beam within three days. After getting approval from Engineer, the steel beam was ordered. It took two weeks for the beam to delivered, a "far cry" from three days. A second steel beam had to be ordered for another area of the house and it took around three weeks for that delivery. If Adam had stuck to the original plans all that time wasted waiting for beams would not have occured. While I believe Adam and his crew did a good job, he has been horrible when it comes to communication. I have texted, called and sent emails throughout this entire process that will go unanswered most of the time. As I write this review, Adam has not responded to an email sent last week or responded to a detailed voicemail left on his cellphone."

"I would give ten stars if I could. I used Atlantic Contractors about a year ago for a project and loved it ! I hired them back to complelty re-do my bathroom and it's subflooring because there were some soft spots in the floor and trouble with old/leaky plumbing. I am over the moon with the results. Brent and his team have adapted quickly to any obstacle that may arise and know exactly what to do to fix it, especially doing work in an older house like mine, because you never really know what you're getting into until you pull up the floor and take down the walls. They came across old & dead mold behind the walls and took it upon themselves to treat with enzymes, wipe and let dry with a dehumidifier. I was impressed ! The final cost came in $300 less that their original estimate because Brent said they didn't have to remove and re-install my vanity, so that was a very nice surprise ! I'd recommend them any time and look forward to them doing my next project !"
