He was knowledgeable about the windows and explained the differences so I could make the best choice for the money I had to spend. "The first guy came over and took pictures on an ipad and gave an estimate. I have tile on the first portion of the roof and then the rest is a graded flat roof. He entered the roof from the front meaning he walked on the tiles. After the repairs we completed, we had another big storm and the roof leaked where the tiles were. I later learned you are not supposed to walk on tile. I think he may have disturbed something causing the new leak. He was professional and explained all of the costs, showed me photos. The actual repair person came while I was at work and did the repairs. He sent pictures of all of the completed work. The leak that I called for repair was repaired and never leaked again. He cleaned up the roof as well. I was happy with this. I tried contacting them again but never received a reply. Overall, they got the job done but I believe more care should be taken on a tile roof. I think they should be more responsive to emails because I would have used them again. They were responsive to the initial scheduling and consultation but after that, I could not get a reply."

"They did a great job!  We gave them specific directions to trim the two huge trees off the roof and away from the sidewalk, and they did exactly that, and when we requested they trim a few branches a bit more because they hung over a neighbor's property, it was no problem or additional expense.  There was a very heavy windstorm within a month of the trim job, and a remaining branch snapped and was hanging down.  I called California Arborist and they came out the same day and cut it off, with no additional charge.  The trees were shaped nicely, not just lopped off.  We were very happy with the work. <br />"

"Quick response! Someone was here an hour and a half after we called. He quickly determined our sewage pipe was blocked by tree roots. Starting that afternoon and continuing over 4 days, with temperatures around 110, the Make It Drain crew worked steadily to clear the obstructions and renew the sewage pipe as far as the curb. Then they flushed the pipe and determined there was no additional blockage beyond that point. They had to tear up a brick walkway to get to the pipe. Before leaving, they restored the walk to it's original condition. The workers were skilled and professional and communicated clearly about the progress and about issues effecting cost. We would definitely recommend them to others, and would call them again ourselves for a plumbing or sewer problem."

We had a pipe burst between floors in our multi-level house this summer, ruining our downstairs kitchen, and effecting some cabinetry in our upstairs kitchen. Once we got that clean-up out of the way and got the insurance claim started, we started shopping around for contractors that could help us out. We had three different estimates, but Goodfellas was the least expensive while still meeting all our needs. Our project manager Danny really set up a plan that would fix the damage, while also giving our upstairs kitchen a much needed facelift. His crew foreman Nir, and his crew—especially Arnold—was very helpful and efficient. It was easy to communicate with Nir via phone and text, and I would say I spoke to Danny via email at least a few times a week. Danny was really helpful in matching our new cabinets to the paint choice I had made for the remaining cabinets. They both made sure we were happy with each step and installment, or they fixed it until we were. We even ran into some insurance trouble midway through, putting a halt on our funds for the project. After explaining the whole nightmare to Danny, he was patient and waited with us until Nationwide could pull it together to help us finish this project. And once the final money was approved, Danny’s crew was quick to finish up the kitchen so that we could return once again to our normal lives.
