There are sections of my driveway where nearly all of the seal coating came off in less than 9 months, so I am going to have to re-do the job myself. This is not what I had in mind when I paid over $1,100 (a fair price, if it would have lasted longer). I understand that the work isn't covered anymore, as I didn't report it until the thaw revealed so much was missing, and I'm not upset with Merit or their staff. "We hired Dave and his team to grade, seed, and plant two trees. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We watched Dave push his employees in our backyard, our grass (if you can call it that) came in very very yellow and the grading was causing puddles in several areas in our yard. We called Dave at least 10 times and left messages with our concerns. No call back, ever. We had two different companies come out to talk us through options and both said we absolutely got taken advantage of. We saved $500 but had to get our entire lawn redone. The way they had our water draining was horrible and when the new landscapers dug everything up to regrade and drain correctly one of the pipes was already disconnected underground and one literally had duct tape around it. A year later and one of The two trees died. This was a horrible company to work with and I hope nobody has to go through the expense and experience that we did."
