"I can’t say enough great things about Higuera Excavation and Grading! During the last big storm here in the Monterey area, we suddenly discovered a serious leak around our door. Water was pouring in, and we were honestly panicking about the potential damage and cost. I called my friend Gary Higuera, and he showed up at a moment’s notice — while the storm was still going on! Gary jumped right in, quickly diagnosed the issue, and fixed the problem before it turned into a much bigger (and much more expensive) disaster. His pricing absolutely could not be beat. Thanks to his quick response and expertise, he literally saved us thousands of dollars in potential repairs. It’s rare to find someone who is not only skilled and professional but also genuinely cares about helping people when they need it most. We are so incredibly grateful for his help and highly recommend Higuera Excavation and Grading to anyone in the Monterey area. Thank you, Gary — you’re a lifesaver!"

"Justin and his crew are excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable regarding landscaping and built a beautiful planter in my front yard that is a feature. The workmanship is superb!!!! He was very reasonably priced and well worth having a professional do this job. Thank you so much. Highly recommend!!!"

"I have had many contractor and I have found Frank, carrying concerning, knowledgeable, and concerned in his clients. And very professional."

"In addition to laying out stone work for our front and back yards, Jed and his crew also did a lot of landscaping--removing lots of shrubs and other existing plants and putting in all new plants and trees. We had him rework stone work in the front yard and put in a stone patio and walk ways as well as a drip irrigation system in the back yard. It all came out so beautifully. We provided the overall design, Jed make several very good suggestions that we incorporated. We did most of the plant selection and he worked on getting the best prices for the majority of the plants. His crew were all very hard working, polite, professional, neat and respectful of our property. They worked fast and efficiently with a high level of quality to their work. The end result is FANTASTIC. We love how the yards look now and once all the plants are fully grown, it's going to be really lush--with a good number of the plants being drought resistant. I will say that Jed/Eco Concepts is in high demand. He was able to work our relatively small project in between much larger projects, which was fine by us as we really wanted him to do the job based on the reviews we read of his work. We were willing to wait til he had an opening and it was well worth the wait. Jed is a really nice guy, very easy to work with, has good contacts and resources for materials. I highly recommend Eco Concepts for landscaping and stone work."

"They arrived on time, carrying their own supplies and equipment.  They asked for any special instructions, then set about cleaning. They worked for two hours, non-stop.  They put everything back exactly how it was, and I was left with a much cleaner house.

"Great. Darantae Ervin and crew were very efficient, thorough with the handling of our new outdoor furniture. Pleasant and friendly. All did a very professional job."

"The job was done in a timely manner.  Everything was excellent."

"They did the job, but they didn't do it to my expectation. I was watching the way they worked and it seemed like there was communication trouble between the laborers and the owner of the company. The owner would give a different instruction from the one I gave and the workers would do something different. I told the foreman what I needed done and how I needed it done so that he could relay it to the laborers who didn't speak English at all. They didn't clean up as well as I expected them to clean up. I was generally happy with their work, but I was unhappy with how the work turned out. It was a communication problem but other than that, they were nice guys."
