Get matched with top electrical wiring or panel upgrade pros in Billerica, MA

"I had an old light fixture removed that did not have a backbox & cover plate to house the wires correctly and a bedroom ceiling fan that mysteriously stopped working. I read a number of Angie's list reviews and felt that VMA Electric seemed like straight shooters, fully transparent and would be able to solve my issues efficiently. (I knew this job would be T&M rather than pre-quoted as it's impossible to say how long something like this would take). But Nancy in the office was wonderful to work with scheduling the work and she gave me the hourly rates ahead of time so I knew what I was going into. I was fortunate with my timing as they just had a cancellation - so they were onsite the very next morning. They solved both of my issues efficiently, cleaned up after themselves and made the whole process extremely wonderful. If you're reading this saying "I just need an electrician or two to come by and fix a couple of lingering items that I've had on my checklist for awhile" - you've found your company. The invoice/bill for the work was emailed to me the following day and it was exactly in line with expectations (a lot of reviewers are cautious about seeing an invoice after the fact). The pricing was exactly in line with the rates previously given and it was itemized with materials, etc. Anybody would be very happy with this group."

"Everything was done well and done quickly! Very reasonable as well since Joe found a way to wire the doorbell without tearing up half the basement (which has plastered ceilings - no drop). Really happy to finally have our video doorbell installed without paying an arm and a leg. Unlike some other contractors Joe did not try to sell me on a hardwired chime I don't need because these video doorbells can ring your Alexa or Google home. Everything completed between 9 and 1 on the same day. Very efficient."

"Ryan was a great help in getting my panel replaced. Came out next day and gave me upfront and transparent pricing. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would definitely hire him again and recommend him to friends and family if ask."

"I had Harland Electric come out and check out my electrical panel due to an issue where the electric dryer kept tripping the circuit breaker. (There was water near the breaker that I observed when it did this.) I had a few other minor things I wanted to have them check at the same time. The guys (Kevin and Derek) were great and knowledgeable and recommended I replace the panel due to the corrosion. I got an e-mail from Bill Harland who gave me information on what my options were and some estimates. I asked a bunch of questions and Bill was a great help in making a final decision. I felt he was honest about his recommendation as I debated doing a more expensive upgrade and Bill felt for my situation it would be overkill. I opted for a full replacement 100amp with the feed from the outside. (My house is very small and 100 amps has always been more than sufficient) Kevin and Mike showed up on time for the appointment and did an awesome job on the replacement. The work was high quality, neat and professional. The guys were also great around the young children (2 and 5), they very friendly and even my wife was comfortable (and that's impressive). They cleaned up completely and even took care of a couple of additional things that I had hoped (but didn't expect) they'd be able to get to. There were no surprises with the bill and within the estimate (even with the extra stuff). Judy in the office was also very nice and great with setting up schedules and dealing with the deposit. I will definitely use Harland again if I need electrical work done."

"Joe O'Connell did extensive rewiring to replace knob/tube wiring in our 150 year old house. The project involved running new wires through walls and ceilings into over six rooms, along with upgrades to electrical panels. Joe and his assistant were very courteous and respectful - they were careful to cover the hardwood floors and use drop cloths to control the dust, and vacuumed up at the end of each day. Joe did great work, everything to code, no cut corners, and brought to my attention some concerns outside the scope of the project that we also had him address. He is a good communicator and returns phone calls promptly. I completely trust him and the work he does, and recommend him highly."

"George and his team were very professional and efficient. The two ceiling fans went up in no time. We would definitely hire again if we need additional electrical work done in the house."

"I could not be more pleased with DiMasi Electric. We were having an issue with some outlets in our kitchen. The DiMasi team was super responsive from our initial inquiry through completion of the job. As soon as I explained the issue, they knew how to solve it, and when they arrived exactly on time a few days later, had it fixed in an hour. They were also very upfront about pricing and came in well below the estimate they provided us. DiMasi will be our first call the next time we need electrical help!"

"I recently had the pleasure of working with JB Electrical, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service provided! From the moment I contacted him for an estimate, I was impressed by their professionalism and promptness. They arrived on time, fully equipped, and ready to tackle the job. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and offered valuable advice on how to improve the safety and efficiency of my electrical systems. The quality of work was exceptional – they completed the job efficiently and left the work area clean and tidy. I also appreciated their transparency regarding costs, with no hidden fees or surprises. I highly recommend JB Electrical to anyone in need of electrical services. It’s rare to find such dedication to customer satisfaction"
