"As a testament to how happy we were with our first renovation provided by the Curtice Group in 2021, which provided completely new kitchen/dining/mudroom/bath, we hired Scott and his team again in 2024-25 for another major renovation. This job was composed of 3 main parts: a gut remodel of our main bathroom, renovation of a large attic space (about 700 sq ft), and whole-home conversion from steam radiators (gas) to heat pumps including removal of all radiators and a chimney. The bathroom now is attractive and more functional, the attic adds a large amount of useful space as an office/kid room/guest area, and central air makes a more comfortable climate. I’m a big fan of the design/build concept, because you really don’t want to separate those two elements into different contractors, and if you find a talented company, they can handle all aspects of the job fluidly. Scott Curtice has a real knack for design, he is attentive and cares about details, and he will perform carpentry and touch-up work as needed. Moreover, he handled all the project coordination so that we could do the jobs that we do well, which do not include home renovation."

Kitchen project, my husband and I picked cabinets out and T & E worked with us and were great when we needed modifications to make it all work. They were here longer than expected and that was due to some surprises on our end and they handled it amazingly since I'm sure we upset other timelines for their next projects! The price was very reasonable and approximate date was end of May 2015."

"These contractors were excellent and renovated 3/4 of our house. They buffered our wood floor and made it look brand new, they remodeled our bathroom and made it look like a Hollywood dressing room, they renovated our cielings, and our basement floors. Additionally, they repainted our porch, our walls in our study and our kitchen. Furthermore, the lead contractor and owner is a **** good carpenter and built new cherry cabinets that perfectly matched the existing ones, they also installed a quartz slab for the counter, as well as a swivel television and new wood floors in the basement. "James, Derek, Jose and the rest of the DiOrio team were great to work with. We hired DiOrio for a total full bathroom gut job - full demolition down to the studs and then renovation. As part of the process, we procured multiple quotes. James and Derek provided a rough estimate on the spot and then gave us the most transparency through the contract. They were quick to work with and get the contract sorted and signed. Pricing was fair and competitive. Once the project started, communication was great. Our project went on longer than anticipated as we added multiple things in the middle and worked with Boston's inspection process and they were always great managing the project, the contacts, subs, etc. They worked with at each step to ensure we were happy with how things were progressing. James was hands-on throughout the entirety of the project - from start to finish. His attention to detail is fantastic - particularly in the tile work, which was beautiful (despite us having a complicated pattern request). Toward the end of the project, he worked weekends and stayed late to we could get things done within a certain timeline. At one point in the project there was a hiccup from one of the specialists and Derek immediately reached out to us to ensure they would take care of everything. Totally seamless and I really appreciated that their long relationships with the people they worked with gave us security we wanted for the job as a whole. Totally trustworthy and thoughtful around all our kids, pets, home, and yard. They clearly put a lot of thought into the contract which includes all details, so be sure you understand what the finished product will be so there are no surprises.
