"We were very pleased with the tear-off and new roof done by Forever Roofing on our house in North Seattle in mid-June of 2020. The estimator Sam contacted us the next day after I left a message and came by within several days and gave us what I felt was a reasonable estimate that included several other requests including removal of a no-longer used chimney and replacing about 20 feet of facial board that was too high for me to replace safely. The crew was great. They were able to utilize the one corner of the house that didn't have plantings for their work area. They completed the job in two days and the gutters were installed on the third day. They were very careful in their clean-up. I would not hesitate to recommend Forever Roofing for their response time and the quality of the workmanship."

"CJ came and spent some time with me during the initial estimate. Very pleasant salesman that's easy to relate to and very detailed on how the whole project would be done. The crew that came out to replace my roof were quick, polite and cleaned up well after each work day. (2 days for the roof) Three Tree Roofing provided a huge dumpster for them to throw the debris in which was parked in my driveway, and a honey bucket for their use. There was one issue I had with the skylights and installation, but it's not enough to sway my opinion of this company. The company that Three Tree hired to replace my gutters were exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly as well. I've hired many contractors over the years and have never been so pleased. I HIGHLY recommend them. Last thing I should mention......... I received a nice little gift in the mail after the project was completed. Nice touch!!"

"I found Rain City Exteriors through James Hardie website and requested an estimate. We wanted to re-sheet the house, replace our sidings with new fiber cement sidings, have the siding painted, and install new gutters, a new front door and few windows. Their price was affordable, beating major competitors like Home Depot and Lowes. We decided to go with them since they had top rated reviews, were a local company (from Kirkland, Wa) and they had their own crews (with clean back ground checks). Make it short, they started the project right on time, and finished it on time on budget. Not only they did not cut corners, they did extra work for us like replacing the rotten fascia. "I believe North Star Roofing and Construction changed ownership sometime in the last few years or there are two companies with the same name, or something else is going on. I Googled Russ Oja who I always dealt with and found him on Linked In as the former owner. I looked on the Land I site

and found that Russ' license lapsed on 6/10/2012. So the North Star Roofing and Construction company that I dealt with is no more. Furthermore I see no North Star Roofing in Seattle listed on the Land I site.
I am writing this because Angie's List asked for a review. I'm not sure what I clicked or wrote that made them aware of my prior use of North Star. The North Star I used was addressed on Mukilteo Speedway in Lynwood. The North Star that Angie's List has prompted me to review is at 815 1st Ave in Seattle.

"Son came to my house and brought a sample of the type of solar roofing they use on residential homes, and went over every detail thoroughly when it came to pricing, financing options, remove old shingles and installation of new shingles and solar panels. Started my roof a few days after and now I'm saving money on my electricity, I have a beautiful roof and Home Squad has been very responsive to my questions on the amount of power generated etc. I wouldn’t recommend any other company for solar, Home Squad is the real deal."
