"The owner of Stone Depot, Nick Papas, offers hands on professional service.   I am a realtor, so great service is part of my professional standard and I appreciate it in others.  Nick was always available by phone and was very responsive.  I was nervous about selecting my granite, and I changed my mind at the last minute.   Nick was very gracious and allowed me to select another granite that I preferred. His team arrived for the installation on time and did an outstanding job.  The was a minor issue with caulking, and Nick sent someone out the next day to finish it off.  I could not be more happy with my granite and Stone Depot.  I was advised to personally select my slab of granite - which I did.  All granite is different, so that was good advice.  The location for selection was in Sterling VA, which was great for me since I live in VA.
I also checked out Counter Intelligence, but found the salesman was not very concerned and did not go the extra mile to get my business.  I  had to drive all the way to Silver Spring MD to look at samples of granite slabs.  That was to far to go.  Also, their price quote was higher.  The smaller company atmosphere at Stone Depot was a much better choice for me.  I highly recommend them!

"I received A+ service from Granite Works. I met Bruno Valente, one of the co-owners, on my first visit. He was very friendly and helpful, not pushy like some sales people. The slab I liked the best was marked sold.  In a follow up discussion with Bruno, my brother found out that the sister to that slab was available. Bruno gave it a rating of 11 on a scale of 1 to 10, and he was right.  Bruno held the slab for a few days until I could get there. Purchased it that day, and he held it for 5 months at no charge. Many companies my brother called on my behalf would not hold a slab longer than 30 days.
When my brother was visiting from out of town, they were kind enough to bring it out of storage so that he could see it.  That day, we met Art Rivera who spent considerable time with me us and provided invaluable advice about a new counter I was adding.  He also provided other design suggestions on the backsplash and paint color, which I followed with great results. That was an extra bonus I didn't expect. So, if Art gives you advice, you should definitely take it.
The templater, Glauber (hope this is the correct spelling), was extremely detail oriented and communicated well with my carpenter and his assistant. He made a suggestion for the end cap of the new counter and the handrail behind it that made it a true work of
art.  Gus Valente (co-owner), with assistance from Eduardo (stone cutter), did a great job of deciding what parts of the stone would go where in my kitchen and fireplace.  They have an amazing eye. I was so impressed by their finding parts of the slab in totally different areas that would best connect at the seams. The installers were terrific and that process went very smoothly. I have 2 seams that are barely noticeable.  Their work in the kitchen and my fireplace surround was impeccable.
Granite Works exceeded my expectations, and I'm very picky.  My counters are a work of art.

"I purchased a granite countertop from Granite Vision. The entire process went extremely well and my countertop was installed very quickly - less than two weeks from when I first selected the material even with the Christmas holiday in the middle of that time. I went to their showroom in Woodbridge and selected my granite at which time I paid a $500 deposit. They came out the next day to measure. After the measurement, I changed my mind about adding the 4 inch backsplash. This was no problem at all- they simply came back to do a second measurement and it did not delay the installation at all. They were very professional.
The counter is beautiful. Both Ronnie and Joe were incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and kept me informed during all steps of the process. I highly recommend them."

There was no pressure while browsing and when I made a decision the staff was efficient and professional during the process to select sinks, edge treatment, etc and finalize the paperwork. "Best experience ever.  First they were very responsive when I requested a quote.  Then provided the designs within the week and provided all the material so all I needed to do was go by the showroom and agree with their selections because I couldn't have done it better myself and it was all within my budget. When the work started, the crew showed up when they said they would.  Each evening, they cleaned up after themselves as much as possible.  The 2 bathrooms were demolished down to the studs and the 1/2 bath replaced the sink and cabinet and the toilet.  In all it took 5 to 6 weeks.  The workmanship was amazing.  The attention to detail was beyond compare.  We even decided on some structural changes so that my walk-in shower would be larger.  I can't say enough good things about this company.  I have already recommended them to my family and friends and will continue to praise their work.
