"It went great. They were fully booked when I called on Thursday, and thought they would have to come out on Monday. Bari in the office was so sweet and seemed very genuinely concerned when I told her what was wrong, and told me, if possible, she would squeeze me in today. They were able to, for which I am very grateful. The plumber came out, and cleaned some roots out of the sewer main. I had called another company to do it, and they came out twice, and were unable to find a clog, so the problem just got worse and worse. Everything is working exactly as it should after calling Bob's one time, and it was significantly lower priced than the other place. I am very satisfied as always, and will call again if I have more plumbing issues in the future. They really are the best ever. :)"

"The man who ran the camera to diagnose the problem was very courteous, informative, careful, and thougtful. He found that where the drain line ran about forty feet from the west to the east side of the house, it was flat and even "bellied" (low in the middle), rather than sloping downhill. He and I thoroughly discussed ways to solve the problem, then one of the owners come out and discussed it, and then he had the senior owner come out and discuss it as well to make sure they weren't overlooking any issues. They really thought through everything very carefully, and came up with a great plan to use a horizontal drilling contractor to run a second drain from under the west end of the house out to the sewer main, and cap off and leave unused the forty-foot section of drain that was flat, while leaving the east end of the house on the old drain (which was fine from the east end out to the sewer main). It was a very carefully made plan, and I admire their expertise and thoughtfulness. But there were two drawbacks. First, the younger owner, Bobby Usry, did not listen very well; he spoke a mile a minute, constantly talking about how trustworthy and careful they would be to avoid problems, and how if they broke anything THEY would make it right; but I could hardly get a word in edgewise to ask a question or make a suggestion. Then the estimate he gave us was for $9700, not including pouring the new concrete to fill the small holes they would make inside, and it came loaded with disclaimers about how if anything broke WE would have to pay to have it fixed. I asked him to rebid it without the horizontal drilling company, using old-fashioned digging, but he never did. I could not figure how this job could really cost $10,000, and all the fast talk I was getting left me with the impression (perhaps inaccurate) that he might possibly (I certainly don't know this for sure) see me as an easy target and might be inflating the price tremendously. So we postponed the work, and several months later got a bid from a different plumber who did the work for just $3700, not counting sprikler repairs and reinstallation of the deck, which we agreed to have done separately. Now, the sprikler repairs and deck repair will not be cheap, but still, we could get an entirely new deck and still come in well under Bob Usry's bid. I will would not consider using Bob Usry again unless I had a highly complex project that required their obviously high level of expertise and thoughtfulness, and was willing to pay a very high price for it. Even then, I would hesitate, because I would have this funny feeling that I might not be treated fairly. I certainly don't know that's the case; it's just that they failed to inspire confidence in their business practices, even though they inspired a great deal of confidence in their expertise."

"I placed a request for a clogged pipe in my kitchen. I received a call from a CSR and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Before the serviceman arrived, I was given a call to let me know he was on the way. Brian arrived on time and upon checking to see that what I believed was a blockage deeper in my pipes than just a simple clogged drain, he did in fact confirm that I had a blockage well past the u-bend under my sink... he went right to work and had my pipes cleared out and my drains working freely within 30 minutes... I was VERY happy with his work and professionalism... the price was a little more than I expected but that was my fault for misunderstanding the CSR. I was told that there was a fee for coming out to find the problem and then if work was done it would be more. I thought that meant that the fee for coming out would be included in the price of the services rendered like it has been with other services I have had done after the servicemen came out and given the estimate and then I had them do the work. But, this place is different. The cost of coming out to give an estimate is NOT included in the service costs. I could understand paying that fee if I did NOT have them do the service they were giving me an estimate for. That wasn’t made clear up front and it is the only reason why I can't give a perfect score. Granted, it is a misunderstanding on my part. But, that really should be made clear before hand! The charge for coming out was $89 and then there was a hourly charge of $108 per hour. You pay for the full hour no matter if it takes them 10 minutes or 60 minutes. I will still use them if I ever need plumbing services again."

"UPDATE AS OF 12:06 06/04/2020: I spoke with a manager, Jason. Jason took care of the issue and made things agreeable. Jason went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I purchased a kitchen faucet from Amazon. I had Hayden from Hull Plumbing Inc. come out and give me an estimate for the job. He quoted me $185 and I agreed to the price. Hull does offer free estimates, which is not the norm. Hayden came out and had some difficulty installing the handle. He wanted to switch around the handle and faucet, which I did not agree to. He modified the handles water supply and made it work. As he finished up I noticed a leak under the sink. Hayden said it would cost $40 to change the trap and I approved. Once he left I noticed several issues. The plumber said to fix the trap it would be $40, but he charged $235, which is $50 more than the original estimate. I failed to notice the difference in pricing initially. The faucet and handle were not flush against the granite and the sink was leaking. I sent Hayden a text about the issues with the installation. I told Hayden that the installation guide did not show a clear plastic washer above the granite. We texted back and forth and I even sent him the picture in the installation guide! Even after seeing the installation guide, Hayden still felt like he was right. I called the next morning to speak to a manager. The manager, Jason, initially just said he can come out Monday (it was Saturday), but I told him it was unacceptable with a leaking drain. He agreed to send somebody out to repair the leak that day (Saturday) and to send the original Hayden to address the faucet on Monday. Robert came out Saturday and adjusted the work of Hayden and stopped the leak. On Monday, Hayden came out and loosened the faucet and handle. They lifted up the faucet and handle and cut the washers off so that they would be flush. Hayden never acknowledged that he did not follow the installation guide and ask me if this is the WAY I WANTED IT! I just wanted it installed correctly. Not to mention the fact that what he called extra washers may have been intended in another location or as spare parts needed to replace worn parts in the future. I have used Hull Plumbing several times recently and this is the first time I was not satisfied. I would have hoped that Hayden carefully looked at the installation guide and just admitted to the mistake."
