"Prior to the replacement we developed a leak in the roof. One of the owners came out, prior to us signing the papers, and put on a temp patch and did not charge us for it. When they came out to give us an estimate, they were the only company we got an estimate from that actually got on top of the roof to look around. They were able to give a more complete estimate because they were able to tell us that plywood would need to be replaced as well. On the day the roof was to be done the crew was here on time, first thing in the morning. One owner was on site the whole time till work was completed. Crew cleaned up all debris after the job was complete. Job was completed in one day and price was within estimate. Company also provides $100 for any referrals for which we did receive a check for. Overall this is an outstanding company and I was very pleased with the work. They also handle vinyl siding and will be using them when we are ready. Great work."

"A very large tree fell in a heavy wind storm and did extensive damage to the roof and interior of our home creating holes in our roof and crushing part of the eves. We called Couto Construction because they did work for us before and we felt confident they had the right skilled workers and could complete the job before any more damage was done by water or snow. Couto Construction repaired the structural damage, replaced the roof, exterior siding and trim, gutters and repaired the interior drywall and plaster. Couto is a large, professionally run construction firm that can tackle large projects. Jeff completed our estimates and worked with our insurance company to make sure our home was restored to its original condition. Carlos (project manager) and Eddie (foreman) were always responsive and listened to any questions or concerns. I had phone numbers for both and was encouraged to call with any concerns. Chris, Cesae, and Justin did meticulous work and went above and beyond on the plaster and made sure I was happy with the work. Cleanup was very thorough. The exterior crew worked long days and some weekends to take advantage of the dry weather and prevent further damage. Overall I am very pleased with the work. When choosing roofers it is especially important to find a team that will complete the work thoroughly and safely. Couto is certified by Owens Corning and you receive a long warranty for the roof. They use all the correct roofing pieces and do a thorough design with appropriate venting and ice and water shield to prevent leaks. Thanks for a job well done!"

"Dave was a pleasure to work with. We initially called in for a facia repair on our siding and a few roof shingles that blew off in a wind storm. Dave informed us we would be able to file a claim with our insurance company for an entire roof replacement. We were initially skeptical but Dave worked with us and directly with our insurance company to complete the entire job. The work was completed quickly and the roof is beautiful."

"Mr. Cardilli subcontracts his work out and oversaw the construction. He helped us figure out what to present to the insurance company so that the majority of the work done was eventually covered by our home owner's policy. He was in constant contact throughout the project. He helped us develop a plan that allowed us to remain in the house during construction except for the floor refinishing. This was an important factor for us. 
He remained in constant contact with us about the process, what we needed to do and by when. He checked in on the job daily either by phone or site.  The construction crew he hired was excellent. They were very thorough in their daily clean up of the house including little conveniences like plugging in alarm clocks and setting them to setting up our beds in other rooms during construction.  The painting crew was good, but work needed to be checked for thorough paint coverage. We found paint on bed spreads, curtains, and floor.  They did not clean up as well as the carpenters. The flooring crew completed their job within the given time frame and the work was excellent. All work was completed within the expected time line. 
This was the first time we have ever hired a contractor to do work for us. I will add a couple of things we learned in the process. If you want / need an itemized list of all work and materials used, put that expectation in the contract. Additionally request that any work beyond the agreed upon work is approved (cost) prior to starting the needed work. When the additional work is done, check the work and time required for labor to be sure it is accurate.
Overall this experience was a good one. The subcontractors were polite and pleasant to our family. Mr. Cardilli was attentive and responsive to all our emails and calls.
