"After calling the LG customer support due to finding melted light cover and hot refrigerator, I looked online for the LG recommended service providers.  Not impressed with the information I found for the recommended service providers, I logged onto Angie's list and choose a local appliance repair place. At Ur Service Appliance Repair , scheduling was easy. The repairman, Matt, was on time even thou I was not.  He was patient, listen to my issues, evaluated the refrigerator and said I had an electrical fire and I was lucky it did not short out the lights.  The control board was surging, you can hear it when the appliance is plugged in. <br /> Unfortunately he did not have the parts available, but provide me all the information needed to order the parts directly. <br /> Once the parts came in, Matt promptly returned to install. <br />"

"tMy first contact with Universal Appliance Service was by telephone.  At that point I told them I had a Bosch stackable washer and dryer set.  After that conversation, our communication switched to email.  In a email I gave them the model number and serial number of the washing machine .  I took time off work to be home for their visit.  Unfortunately they only sent one guy when they need two to deal with the stackable set.  So I wasted my time off work and we had to reschedule  for another day.  That why they are getting a B rating.  <br /> When they returned the work was completed in a timely manner,  they cleaned by after themselves and everything was fine.  Price for the parts and labour was on the high end of normal but competitive . In other words, he price was acceptable. <br /> if you have stackables, you must make sure they are bringing a two man crew or you waste will time off work like i did. <br /> <br />"
