Customers say: Terrific value

"We have used Dean for 3 projects: driveway, stamped concrete patio and replaced cracked concrete pad. All have been done on time and were amazing!! They are professional, within our price range and went above and beyond our expectations. We have recommended them to family and neighbors who have also hired them and have been just as Happy!!!!! You will not be disappointed. If I could give higher than 5 ⭐️ I would!"

"I emailed the company today, 4/24, detailing the problems I had encountered and asking that I be contacted in a prompt manner about my concerns.  To my surprise, I received a phone call this afternoon from Tim Lyons, Division Manager,Indianapolis.  Tim gave us a very sincere apology.  He made no excuses for the difficulties we'd encountered, but was able to provide a resolution that was entirely satisfactory.  This is the service I have had in the past with Champion, and I am pleased that Tim is eager to continue that level of care.

FAQs for concrete delivery projects in Bloomington, IN

The amount of concrete you need varies by project. One 80lb bag covers an area of about 2 square feet, for a slab 4 inches thick. Two 60lb bags of concrete cover an area of about 2 square feet for a slab that is 6 inches thick.

A truckload of concrete can usually hold a maximum of 10 cubic yards.

The cost of concrete per cubic yard depends on which brand you purchase, but usually costs about $110 for bags.

It takes about 41 bags of concrete to fill a cubic yard. Always plan to buy a few bags more than the exact required amount in case of mistakes.

To calculate the amount of concrete you need for a slab, you should find the cubic yardage of the area you will be filling. Just follow these steps:

  1. Measure the area in feet.

  2. Multiply length by width, and then by thickness.

  3. Divide the resulting number by 27 to find cubic yards.
