"I had stainless steel chimney liners put in two properties I own, and one of them also needed to have the chimney rebuilt from the roof up. One of the liners in particular was very difficult because there were 2 gas boilers and 2 gas hot water heaters exhausting up the chimney, with low head height in the basement and a small flue. They had to custom make connectors to get everything to fit, but they ended up getting it done! I found pricing to be reasonable, I received another quote as well and went with Metrowest because they seemed very knowledgeable and the pricing was competitive."

"They did a GREAT job! They first ran into permit problems in Brookline, but Rich (?) was able to fix that and didn't charge me extra. Then on the day of the work, they showed up and worked through to the next day and removed the whole chimney from the inside without making a dent in the house. I was MOST impressed with this as I have 2 small children so dust is a big deal to me. Since they are so prompt and efficiently, i was able to coordinate with my roofer to come in on the same day to seal up the roof. At the end of the day, you couldn't even tell that someone had removed a chimney just minutes before. Highly recommended! <br />"

"The project was completed to my satisfaction and looks pretty good (see photos). Installation supervisor was responsive and personable. Installation crew was polite, quick, efficient and cleaned up the yard pretty well. During the walk-around I noticed a few of the shingles were damaged from someone walking on them so I asked them to fix them. They fixed them, but I was bummed to have to tell them to do it. This should have been automatic during their own checks. A couple of comments. The supervisor should try and remain on the job site all day since the crew does not speak English. It would have been tough to communicate with them if my other half was not a native Spanish speaker. The dumpster company they used sent the junkiest looking dumpster I've ever seen to my house. The bottom of the walls were completely rotted through with huge holes in it. I was really worried about nails falling out in my driveway and down the road when they moved it. I walked my driveway like 5 times after they took it away. Sure enough I found a few nails. I would be sure to tell them to send a dumpster that looks like it was not at the bottom of Boston Harbor for many years. The crew needs to update their safety equipment and use lanyards and harnesses rather than old frayed ropes."

"Perfect. I needed to line an unlined chimney for a hot water heater. Footie recommended aluminum as the most appropriate material for a natural gas hot water heater. The chimney is a straight shot with a 90 degree turn for attaching the water heater. The installation was quick, including capping the chimney. My experience with Footie is that he does quality, honestly priced work. His quotes are reasonable and accurate. <br />"

"The work went smoothly and was done professionally. We discussed before hand that the bricks should blend in as much as possible, the selection of bricks Tri-State was able to find helped achieve this. The masonry is aligned properly and looks beautiful. The sealer was a suggestion by Mr. Dintino because our chimney is on the north side of the house and does not get sunlight. We see it has made a difference and are very happy we went with the suggestion. The crew arrived promptly and Mr. Dintino was on site as well, they were all professional and cleaned up each evening to minimize the impact on our access to the house. We have used Tri-State to clean our chimney for several years, we are very happy with the work and would recommend them in the future. <br />"
