Chris Lacky came to the house and assessed the project size and spent a lot of time explaining the metal roofing options and we settled on a shingle looking aluminum roof. After a short life for our previous asphalt roof we decided to go with metal. The scheduling had a few bumps due to the rainy summer but ECMR kept us up to date and when they scheduled the install, the took care of all the deliveries and dumpster needs. We had Baha and his instal crew for our job and they were non-stop workers staying well into darkness during the install including working a couple of weekend days to make up for rain days. Baha was dedicated to doing a quality install and he made it happen. His crew also were very neat in keeping the area cleaned up during the process. "they replaced the shingles on top of a bay window where there had been an ice dam and added underlayment. The siding on the house is pre-colored Hardie board, while doing the work two of the Hardie boards broke. They replaced the broken boards with two primed but unpainted Hardie boards . They never asked if we had more pre-colored boards in the basement. We did! I asked them to make this right by pulling off the two unpainted panels and putting in the factory painted ones - The asked for an extra 650 which seems like a lot Before the job the communication was great, lots of pictures, but they did not say Hardie board is likely to break - which would would have gotten me to point out where the spares were After the wrong boards went up they were responsive and polite but not helpful The contract that i signed said they were not responsible for painting any siding, so they were technically right but they left me on my own"
