I am someone who loves working with my hands. I have built everything from tables and chairs to pergolas and fully functional wood shops. No matter the size of scope of the project I work to ensure that every job is completed with quality. I love to work with all of my clients, whether I am solving an issue they have or bringing their vision to life. You can be as involved or hands off as you would like. My goal is to make sure you are happy when I am finished.

I would like to introduce myself as Leonel Gonzalez, with 7 years of experience in the construction industry. I’ve worked in remodeling of courthouses in Texas which consisted of carpentry such as installing baseboards, cabinets, window trims, custom doors and other furniture. Therefore I also have experience in paint and stain jobs. \nConsidering my self a responsible, honest, and respectful person towards others everything I do is to provide for my family.

I’ve led the construction of my own home as a Texas general contractor, and I enjoy helping people fix problems the right way without overcomplicating things. "Storm and Bob are the nicest guys!   Our three small doggies were happy to see them arrive each morning.  They were careful around our pets, making sure they weren't in harm's way and didn't escape out the door. 
They took care of our house,  placing drop-cloths over our wooden floors.so they wouldn't mar the finish.  They removed the old shower and tub, carefully preserving the existing tile on the floor and adjacent walls.  They removed all decayed wood and replaced it with new lumber. They carefully brought in the new shower pieces and assembled the new shower.  They repeatedly asked us to review their work and asked if they were meeting our expectations.  They cleaned up their work area and left the house in excellent shape.
My wife and I are extremely pleased with their handiwork and professional expertise.  We will be asking them to perform additional work on our house and strongly recommend them.

"JMG Handyman Services is excellent & I will hire John again for additional work around my home. Communication is great. He listens to what is needed & takes into account any concerns expressed when a job is correcting a problem. He suggested using products available on market to address those issues when appropriate. He was also willing to listen when I had a specific preference about how I wanted finished product to look and made it happen. He was proactive in scheduling and overall was accurate in amount of time he allocated for completing a specific task. And, he respected my time & showed up when he said he would. Below is list of tasks he successfully completed in my home. 1. Installed vinyl plank flooring (LVP) with some challenging angled cuts. Paid attention to the pattern created during installation. Installed transition pieces. 2. Installed new baseboards & trim work. 3. Removed old bathroom vanity & installed new one. 4. Installed new bathroom faucet. 5. Removed old toilet & installed a new one. 6. Corrected plumbing issue under sink in bath. 7. Neatly opened wall & removed a screw used at some point in time to hang a mirror over vanity that had hit an overflow pipe for HVAC system. Replaced damaged section of pipe & completed a small drywall patch. 8. Added waterproof caulking & epoxy on slab before installing new LVP flooring where there was an issue with water coming in before. 9. Replaced an exterior door & trim. 10. Ran a new PEX line for cold water through attic & wall to an existing tub. 11. Hung a surface mounted medicine cabinet/mirror."

"Used them at the recommendation of a friend, to install gutters for two story house. Gutters Worked however when it rained heavy, my flowerbeds got completely flooded due to where the downspout was installed. I called and sent photos to see if maybe I needed additional downspouts installed or relocated to divert the water elsewhere away from my foundation and never got a call back from them. On two separate occasions. Then come to find out from the person who referred them, they responded to him in recent days and continued to do work for him. I guess I will not be using them for further projects if they don’t even respond about the projects they completed. I guess since it’s a small job, maybe it wasn’t worth their time."

"Buzz Custom Fencing completed the fence replacement/reinforcement in a timely manner and was very responsive throughout the process. Several months after the job there was an issue with the gate they installed. They fixed the gate the same day I brought it to their attention with no questions asked. I would definitely use them again."
